Well, im gonna leave DayZ be for one or two days. lol. Does anyone else share the feeling I have right now. That feeling of dieing after a successful run of a couple days, getting all that sweet gear, seeing all the new sights. Having not a worry in the world. and then BLAM.. Back to the beach for you. Oh man, just makes me hate DayZ for a split second and completely deters me from launching it for a while lol. Even worse is when I don't go down with honor. I feel like this was directed towards me and Ted xD Sure your analogy is all fine and dandy, but Price vs. Performance. AMD will win every time. Dont buy Intel JUST to play this game. And im not saying I disagre, Im sure Intel can handle more and is great for video editing, graphic design and other things that require alot of CPU power. But for gaming, DayZ being a slight exception. An AMD at a cheaper price will do outstanding for you.

Also running with all settings on Ultra with virtually no frame drops (not sure what im running at though), looks absoultey beautiful. Hey! We have a similar scheme for our systems lol. You were issued a Trijicon Acog sight soldier! :p lol.. Im not in the Marines but my buddy was and that's why I know. There are several people who manufacturer Acog sights as well as a TON of different reticles and such, but I know the exact one your looking for and I also prefer it. Those babies in real life of course are one of the more expensive ones.

I am so close to just deleting my forum account. The sheer stupidity of some people is unbelievable. I'm not one to scream "its alphur!" But.. its alphur!! The top topic as I write this is a guy suggesting the game is getting worse because of increased lag and rubber banding, because of a sudden decrease in performance there is the automatic suggestion and assumption that the Captain has abandoned his post and were sinking to the bottom to join Jack and his icy fellows (Titanic reference). The only thing I can say to anyone who does not have CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is. GET. THE. FUCK. OUT. And stay out for at least 6 months. Or better yet. Don't come back. Love it. My first mental image though was cresting a hill in Chernarus and seeing this exact smiley face lmao. I wouldn't hesitate for one second and just start taking crack shots no matter how far. To balance for vulnerability they should make it so propane or w.e it is hot air balloons use to propel themselves pretty acquirable. Downside is. Your a massive smiling target :) +1 to this.

Oh complaining is an ABSOLUTE MUST! but if its not constructive there just wasting everyone's time and are of absolutely no productive value to anyone or this game.

The Phenom is a FM2 socket.. the FX series requires FM3+.. You would have to upgrade your motherboard as well with the processor... But he is still correct, upgrade your processor. If it requires to upgrade the mobo (which it does), then that is what I would do.

I've tried searching in other topics but have found no other people with this issue. (that have posted about it) So I've noticed when watching peoples videos on YouTube that they are getting these "Healthy" statuses and other messages such as "You feel dizzy" and other messages of the same sort. But I get NONE of these? Just curious as to why this is? Just the other day for the very first time I gorged myself at a water pump to see if I got a full message. I did! but I have not gotten any of the sort regarding my characters health. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks, Stephen :)

So I think this is rather annoying. So if im missing something please let me know, but I HATE having so many maps in my bags. If there isn't already, there needs to be a way to take duct tape and tape map pieces together. Then when you open it. The parts you don't have yet would just be white! Whacha think? Thanks, Stephen

So I'm having a great time playing this alpha. I've gone through about 3 fully geared characters now, all of which seem to die off RIGHT after I get a weapon to go with the plethora of ammunition I have found. It seems my characters like to jump off high buildings. Every. Single. Time. Anyways, my question is. What is with the physics to the Arma/DayZ engines. Im totally ok with it, but im just curious as to why it is.. the way it is.. Example. Up on a trailer dock about 3 feet up, you walk off.. There seems to be a delay as your guy stiffly falls to the ground and then stands there for a bit, shortly after groaning. Same thing, falling off a 3 story building ;) lol.. My character seems to dive stiff bodied to the ground and land on his feet.. Then about five seconds later. Dead.. Just curious as to why it is.. I understand the Engines are pretty complex as they are handling SOOOO much other stuff with these games.. but does have to do with the physics.. is it just to much? Also the lack of a proper jumping animation.. Whenever.. I mean something more than the new vaulting animation. Thanks! :)

Eh plus he seemed to miss the reason of the post. It wasnt that you were killed. It was from just joining a server and your character being gone. NOTHING to do with "The number 1 rule of DayZ" but more a bug.. Doh...

Right, well forget the part about a three story building lol.. But for instance how buggy and.. stumped.. the game acts when you fall from like a 3 foot loading dock for instance.. It just acts like it doesnt know wtf to do..
