Even if they only allowed one to spawn per 20 servers once a week. By the end of the week there would be thousands of people running around with them due to duping. Rarity is useless with duping enabled.

I love playing dayz and I will continue to play it as I have since it first came out as a Mod. I hear players talk about immersion. If this were purely a survival game then why have loot respawn? Loot would never respawn in real life? Set servers with a set amount of loot and then make the players have to live off the land for survival (hunting for food and ponds for water). I understand the need for loot to keep people actively playing the game and engaged. Maybe instead of a 4 hour restart make them have 24 hour or several days restarts. Thus making people have to truely carefully plan out their travels and such. With the way it has always been with easy food , fluids and gun access it just promotes a FPS style game with a few survival aspects to it. Just my opinion.

I am a Hermit with the way the game currently is. So I have not had any real experience with other players. I keep to myself and if I feel threatened I kill.

I run into this guy and a fire fight ensues. I hit him and he runs off at breakneck speed. I like whoa but then chock it up to lag and dsync on his end my ping was 18 on this server. I stay on guard looking for him and I see him again and start firing again boom hes gone. I then hear a mosin shooting but he is a horrible shot cause the rounds are not landing close to me at all. I can not locate him so I just run off not wanting to deal with this guy in case he is hacking. All the while I have my head on a constant pivot looking for someone following me. After about 2 minutes of running all of a sudden from behind me a guy appears (the same guy) he shoots and misses some more as I pull my gun (I was running empty handed to run fatser) he gets a shot on me. Finally I have my gun drawn figuring why am I trying to shoot this hacker what good will it do he must have god mode as they always had in the mod. Well I hit him and I hear the hurt sound come from him. It is at this point I think hey I must have a chance. So hes firing at me I am dancing around trying not to get hit with the second shot that would kill me and then he stops to reload the mosin. I am like hell ya this is my chance. Well I unload the clip in him he's not dying and then the most bizzare thing happens he stops to bandage in the middle of a fire fight so I reload and the next 30 rounds out of my ak101 killed him. Now obviously this was no hacker but all awhile I was fighting him he is moving from point a to point b at break neck speeds making it impossible to hit him. I am guessing he was using a speed hack. Is this what we are calling hackers? If so we do not have much to worry about cause they are bad. Yes this was my first ever encounter since realease with any type of person with hacks or scripts that I know of. I never go to berezino by the way. I am not in to pure death matching.

The reason I ask this is that even though they are very rare. It's only a matter of time before people start duping them and then we start running into people carrying nothing but nades and can endlessly lob them at you. I think they should wait until they fix the duping problems (if they can) before they start releasing stronger damaging weapons such as grenades.

I think firing from the hip is more spray and pray mentality. I have employed this before with limited success (dependent upon weapon available at the time). Of course with this strategy you are better served with an AKM with a 75 round drum then a mosin or sks. As with the more rounds fired, the successful kill rate increases.

This sounds like a nice addition. Espically if they degrade over time since if you made one In Real Life and have the rag stuck in it, the fuel would slowly evaporate over time thru the rag.

I have never bothered obtaining all the map parts. Does the game allow you to see the map in full once you have obtained all the parts? Or do you still have to view them each singularly.

Yes I was thinking this too. So after the fire fight I went to a safe location and logged off and ended up here for the time being :D

Just sharing my story as I said in my story I did not think this was a hacker but using a speed hack possibly. I also am not crying or screaming are making useless statements such as yours. I simply wanted to share my story and possibly receive some feedback of the constructive nature. Maybe you should practice such. It would serve you better through out your daily endeavours.

I prefer one's I can kill quickly without having to reveal my presence to everyone within ear shot of my gun as I get impatient with melee :) . With that being said they have a good mix currently my favorite are the crawlers when they jump at you. Sometimes I run with them behind me trying to time their jumps and stagger step to miss their hit.

Because of Shrub when I pass a pig I look at it and say hi piggie and then think of Shrubs video and smile and go on my way with the oath of to never hurt the Dayz Unicorn :) . I like Shrubs posts. Very entertaining in an innoncent kinda way. My favorite one is where he goes "THIS IS FOR PIG" and starts to mow them murderous bastards down :D

I would imagine not. If they still work why call them ruined? If they do work currently I would expect that to be patched later on.

I hope you are right. I killed a guy with m4 yesterday it wasn't hacked I feel because the butt stock was damaged and he did not have any accessories. Almost like he had recently found it. I prefer my ak101. I also have not ran into any players with nades yet so I had no idea they had already started duping them but it figures. I try to play it safe, hermit like. I agree with you. I don't mind them, I think they are a great addition only when they are found properly not duped in mass. Having one are two at your disposal is not game breaking but two guys with 15 to 20 each is in my opinion.

No we don't understand your guilt. I have found that generally not always but the vast majority of the time the only time people are friendly is when you have the drop on them or they have no weapons. You missed your first shot, had he a gun you would probably be dead. Should of looted his body and moved on to kill another.

it was obvious within a few items being dropped that he was hacking but you continued to accept these items clearly knowing they were being hacked into the game. Had he not griefed you by teleporting you we would not be seeing this as a post. You would have just went on your way and killed others with your hacked in items all the while acting like your not cheating and beliving it too. I feel you have posted enough evidence of you cheating since it is blantanly obvious those are hacked items dev team should ban your account. Just my opinion.

the same server listed in the OP was definately doing that i was kicked 4 times from the server and saw them kick atleast 10 other players before getting to me one time.

Awwww poor hacker banned and now needs new steam account and game to play legit until he get's griefed and buys new and improved hack until he get's banned again and so starts the cycle that started in the mod.

Could it be maybe a survival game is not for you? Just a thought. I love starting out on high pop servers actually makes the game more enjoyable espically avoiding all those pesky bandit's.

I could understand being upset and having to start over to regear up if it was extremely difficult to gear up. Seeing as you can get fairly good gear with-in an hour or two death should be looked at differently and one should not be so attached to their gear.

yeah day serveers keep restarting can play about 15 minutes then bam. It feels almost like the dev team is shutting them down one by one. Not that I have any proof of that nor have any idea why they would.
