Meh a bandit is a guy with play style and take items from you and leaves you alive usually. A murderer has no play style and kills all on sight alot of the players you will encounter fall into this category.

I am glad I have never been put in this position. I am afraid if I were I may just have to choose to starve to death. Again I could not possibly know what my true outcome would be unless I were actually faced with this life and death situation. I would of course have had to exhausted all other avenues, bugs, berries, fruits, roots etc.to eben begin to consider it. Under normal conditions (not extreme) a human can survive up to 3 weeks with out food of course it would not be plesant experience but you can survive none the less.

Ahhhh Ty sir seems then the server admins on the 2 servers finally switched off the persistence that was switched on by the .50 roll out. Well atleast I have 2 good servers to play on this weekend I dislike the whole over spawning of loot. One thing I did notice on these servers is the doors weren't all in the open position which is common on persistent servers unless a player closes them.

Duping and hacking will never be gone from any game. There are a lot of very smart people with alot of time on their hands to figure out new ways (think of a prisoner and the weapons they come up with, essentially out of nothing due to the amount of time they have on thier hands). It can only be minimalized through proper management. I feel dayz accomplishes this because I encountered many more in the mod then I have ever here.

I don't think they will wipe characters going into .51. I wish they would. I do see them wiping any persistance storage though.

Don't make a blanket statement. Not everyone that plays has encountered this glitch and not everyone comes onto the forums probably only 20 percent or so do going by the number of members posted at the bottom of the web page. Just cause we are well informed does not mean all are. -

Giving a game too much realism would ruin it as being "A Game" for me. I would simply turn the game off when or if it begins to stop feeling like a game.

LOL...I had one up until this morning when i got home from work and found a black one. I contemplated keeping it cause maybe just maybe when i pulled it out it would cause my oponent to pause just for a second to give me the upper hand. -

I saw a guy shot in the chest one time by a 20 guage shot gun with bird shot at close range (within 2 meters) with shirt and jacket on. (Not going into details about this at all so don't ask) The man stopped in his tracks and he was in full on run. The shotgun when used as self defense weapon in close range is a hideous man stopper. It does not require a second shot.
