Hi, Been off the game for almost a year so i have lots of questions...i see game is still unplayable in my opinion (what i watched on yt) that is why i patiently wait for a release. yes i used google to answer most of my Q but i want some second opinions and answers on some...so here it goes; Ive heard talks about new engine back when i still played so i was wondering what is up with that now after so much time? Will that new engine see light of day in DayZ SA or is it all just a fantasy? And what will we get from this new engine? Better graphic? Better physics? (im not a smart man when it comes to game engines :P) Ive heard Dean isnt anymore involved in development of DayZ SA, is that bad, good or it doesn't play a roll at all?And why did he leave in the first place, or im wrong and he is still here? Are we gonna see some new maps in future? Or is this just too much too speculate right now? ...You know, ive been playing mod for 2 years before SA came out and Chernarus just feels old to me. And, hehehe one last thing, sorry if i trouble someone, will private servers be hmm how should i say, unique/customizable , in a way harder or easier and im not just talking about 1st or 3rd person, but less loot,more loot...less zeds, more zeds....and stuff like that. U see i like it to be as hard as it can, would like to die of hunger once in a while.... My dream is to play dayz day to day just struggling to find food and water..you know like a real survival simulation, disinfecting water, fighting diseases, have less bullets than zeds in town and so on....or is it too much to expect? Ok, bacground story, stranded in god forsaken place, lucky enough to have decent internet, but only have my dads buisnes laptop in possesion to try and play DayZ on it...but unlucky to do so. So its HP ProBook 450 with AMD Radeon HD 8750M , i5 3230M and 4gb of ram. First of, i believe these specs are enough to play DayZ...im not looking for some ultra mega stronk settings, but atleast low to move around and do something with my time. But the game wont budge, when i open it it goes with some 200p resolution , litteraly i cant even see the exit button, my pointer lags so much it is frustrating to even get out of main menu. Anyway to cut the crap, i think the problem is that this peace of sh** laptop doesnt switch gpus when entering DayZ...yes it has hd 8750M, BUT it also has intel 4600 graphic baked into its cpu.....aaaand it is supposed to auto switch when it neds some extra gpu power, but it doesnt. WHAT DO? Please help im begging.

I see private servers are up and running, i started playing on one few days ago. Questions. -Are tents permanent and usable? In a way that they do not disappear. I google around and see that there is some talking about persistent things in dayz, but also that they arnt working as they should? -I killed few guys already in a gunfight, and i always seem to get this problem where they have no items in inventory, but also i cant use their bag as it appears full...and i cant seem to find any solution on internet?

Ok thank you guys for help, and here i am again confused. -i cant zero my AUG, it just does not budge.I smash pg up and down but it is locked to 300. Is it just me? -I lost my cold /warm indications, while my character was shaking when i would look trough scope or binoculars.... i found out on google that i need to lit up a fireplace and just warm up (even tho there is no sign that im cold except from shaking).....well the shaking is gone for sure, but "My face melted" + "im burning" as it said in the system message, and now im pretty much dead blurred, although i fix that with going into video settings and out.....but the fact that im burnt is bothering me. On the plus side, im not shaking and my char preforms just good, except i do not have the "healthy" indication nor "healing" even tho im light green on food and drink?

Wow, man thanks for reply i really didnt expect anyone to say anything....was just shooting everywhere for any ideas. Well yeah ive been poking whole day now, and yes in ccc there is ,under power settings , settings for switchable gpu....i set it all on high preformance, well tbh i probably tried every possible combination, and nothing worked. I even set dayz for high preformance, and even when i run it u can see in ccc that its running on high preformance, but the problem stays. I kinda lost all hope reading HP forums with people with similar or same problems, theres just that some games work and some games dont. :(( idk, but thanks again, im sure ill be digging some more, but for now im tired...und so wanted to try this new update :((

Dont know where to ask, so ill just post it here. Will there be private hives eventually? And if someone could explain why are they bad? As a arma mod player i never saw any downsides of private hive...on the contrary they are hopper free, which is a big + for me in a survivor game. Thank you.

Is it really that bad? I havent played for almost 3 months now because i got tired of all those "cheats" and exploits players were using. Not to mention i was mod player for a long time before SA , and i love all that hardcore "surviving" , where u need to actually fight for food and water to survive.And this SA was way way too easy to stay alive...other than killed by a hacker or a hopper. What has changed in these 3 months towards "surviving" part of the game? If someone knows just answer yes yes yes no no no... i really dont have time to search forum. Campfire? Cooking?Tents? Animals? diseases? Gamma lets u see everything at night? Low graphic settings giving u huge advantage? Thank you.

oO but it loads 2 bullets. In animation u can see them one on top of other so idk wut goin on?

XD I see people around me really hate rain...i fking love it....back in mod i couldnt wait till it was raining!!! I really hope there will be more rain than sun in SA, probably will not but id wish for it. Anyway....we will see how it affects preformance and fps....due to this fps issue with "memory leak" im unable to say if it really kills my fps. But for those 5 minutes before whole hell brakes loose i have the same fps as i have on sunny day. +note...it does not visually rain inside houses as i saw it, but it definitely sounds like it does.

Stupid? I will post on behalf of my dear friend who saved my life. Looting NWAF with my bud , i ran infront of him juz to get loot before him > :) muahaha thatz how we roll...anyway i saw a guy inside baracks , and had 2 bullets in my magnum...missed both , the guy sprayed like 20 or more bullets from his m4 to only hit me once.....in panic i ran out screaming on TS3 HELP HELP like a fking pussy....hide in shed nearby, start to patch my wounds cuz i was grey as hell... ...meanwhile my friend saw the guy running towards me and he camped behind wall......the guy started spraying me in shed and my friend placed 1 hit to his head with magnum and died instantly. Hes like "wtf?" he headshoted guy from behind and died the second he pressed the trigger.......i ran out to see them both dead and my friend literally ruined from head to toe, his whole equipment , even his glasses were ruined.... So there u go....stupid way to die, kill a guy and die for no reason. Well bug of sort probably since he was 100% ruined. But stupid bug

hmm a bit off topic just so i dont start a new thread....can u guys play dayZ right now? ._. i try to get in for past 15 -20 mins to try one of these "fixes" but i can find any server listed to play on ? idk is just me

Wanted to find it, steped in vybor, first piano house i entered had one.... i like it XD well i liked SKS then i didnt like it....With SKS it felt like there is much more use of that gun but right now no like. This new gun in other hand, u know its not ment to snipe down a target in long range, thats why its cool, because u know u cant.....but i feel in mid range to short is a blast ,,aaand make every hit count.

All i want is this: To die of hunger because i lost those precious 40% of beans by opening them with my badly damaged axe. To die of thirst because every water pipe and pond is infected with deadly bacteria and i dont have matches to start the fire to boil up that water. To actually be scared to fire a rifle in town because it will attract huge horde of zeds that will most likely kill me because i can only kill them with head shots. Not to mention ur 3 bullets u save to possibly hunt down a deer if ur lucky to find one that is.. so u can eat something finaly. On top of all this, to play about 15 hours to finaly find a gun that shoots. To kill another player to steal his precious can of beans. I dont actually want that much , all i want is epic hardcore server that will kill u just by thinking of playing on it. I played mod for over a year, and now i understand the game quite alot and i really miss that basic survival stuff, small things...when u first started playing and died over and over by natural stuff.....not by bugs and server hoppers.

Exactly like this i have....after few minutes it gets lower and lower untill it completely freeze.

Any more tests made??? TEST IITTT, any scopes can attach , bipods? i assume not but wth, no1 even knew this gun was in.

So only PU scope atm can be attached? I have SKS...pretty low on ammo, 20 rounds, swaped for full m4 with all the attachements. SKS looks more........ survival type of weapon i guess so i like it, while m4 is more official. But i would say m4 is still m4 when it comes to killing. This SKS is like someone earlier said in between mosin and m4. Untill it gets bipod and long range scope that is :D

o.O it should be automatic...i will not ask u if u even installed the game yet. + it was about 400 mb update maybe u didnt even notice it.

OK...sooo me and my bud loged in , pretty much in same bush where we logged out last night. XD he spawned now like 10 minutes before last logout in middle of nowhere, and i spawned where i logged out. Like he was rolled back or sumthing... Anyway we wanted to test that log out delay thing, and hahahahaha i logged out into main menu and my char in game (as he said) was rolling on floor, crouching, standing, back rolling....for about 20 seconds. And when i tried to log back in i got that timer of about 130 seconds + when it was finished i was rolled back about 5 minutes before i logged out. Is this like new "normal" method to prevent hopping and stuff or is this just lags? I mean that rollback i got, and after logout my char going whoowhoo.

XD buy the game in pre alpha and then whine....i bought pre aplha not to play it really for real....but to wait at least untill beta is out. Saving some moneyyyzz this way.
