Ya..same shit here in past 3 days 2 of my characters got wiped and fresh spawned....it was all good since few days ago i guess.

ya i 4got...to say. My 1st kill (after countless deaths) in mod a year ago, was lying in grass near pine tree with M14 aim, camping heli crash site about 400 meters away after about 30 minutes....there i saw bandit moving in from woods, scouting area for 5 minutes before finaly going in for loot ...waited when he stoped moving and bam his down , then another hit when he started to bandage himself, and hes dead.

I love this game...played mod for about a year and probably had 1k hours on mod....few things i would love to know if anyone can answer, and yes i used search but i couldnt find anything. When can we expect private hives, or how will they deal with server hopping and combat logging in general? I mean if u ask me, right now i dont want any animals, cooking or cars or idk what, before they deal with server hops. And what is difference in hardcore and regular other than locked first person? Hmm, this right now feels too easy, even in mod i remember it was too damn easy. Few hours and ur all set full of everything. >>I want to die of thirst and hunger<<...which is impossible right now. U find first water pipe u drink 30 times and for the next 3 hours u dont have to care about drinking at all??? Same goes with food, one village looting and ur full of food....one airport, camp our some stupid server hopper.. and u have m4 with all atachments and bullets u want.... When will they set on some real hardcore servers, where u will get sick from just touching water pipe, where u gonna have to eat rotten kiwis to survive, and only 2 guys on server have m4 after 10 hours of searching,its worn out, has no magazine , and 4 bullets in his damaged improvised burlap-sack bag. Where u gonna die of hunger just because u opened ur beans with axe and lost those 30% of beans......u get the picture. Im not crying over lack of content....to me right there is more than plenty to go around, all im asking is IF and when will there be servers so extreme that veterans will die of thirst and hunger as mentioned above as an example....?

Thanks man , was hoping for answer like this! Next patch u say to stop server hoping, cant wait, for me it was one of the important things to get done.

Thats the whole point of this game. That blood and adrenaline rush. Now imagine this, hardcore server, no server logging, u played 1 week just to have ur hiking boots and shotgun with 1 bullet in it....and u meet up 1 on 1 with someone....thats the adrenaline im hoping of getting one day out of this SA.

As one mentioned earlier in the post, this isnt BF or CS....where u need 35+ fps to not feel the lags when doing 360s. I was actually playing dayZ sd for quite some time on 20-25 fps with everything turned on ultra max and if anyone asked me what fps im running on i would easy say 30+ untill i opened fraps and saw those poor 20. My advice to u is to pump up and up those graphic settings as long as ur around 25-35 fps. Game is pretty blurry so its hard to notice fps lag. Playing CS GO for example, on 20 fps if freaking impossible but u barely notice that its lagging in Dayz. Its a waste to cut out this beautiful graphic game just to get a bunch of fps which will do u nothing.

I was playing with graphic settings few days ago...and im pretty happy with it turning everything on high and max (except clouds, on low...idk why but having clouds on max eats 15 FPS and they look the same shit on high as they do on low) but 1 annoying thing that i found is this ""Alpha Coverage"".... i have it turned on because grass and shIt looks more real but some crazy ass dot-lines grid idk wtf appears on grass and it looks so fake. Anddd apparenty on 1080p resolution those dots are the most visible.....BUT! if i set res to 120% (i dont even know what is this shit) but setting resolution in game settings to even more than 1080p even tho my monitor supports only 1080....removes those crazy dots, at the cost of 5 FPS. So im running now on average on about 35 FPS. i5 2500k, 8gb ram and HD 7850

I have some video problems, as u can see on image below ; http://postimg.org/image/5aojae761/ If u look at where sky and grass are touching u can see it the best--> some lines/grid of dots/pixels i dont know what it is....x) its not big deal i know...but i cant stop looking at them in game..... and its getting frustrating. I have i5 2500k , 8 GB of ram and 7850 HD. At the moment i use everything around high/very high with about 25-35 FPS witch is ok with me...except those dots or we the hell is that. I was messing around in settings but no use they are always there sometimes more visible sometimes like just blured but still there. Is there a way to fix that and how? Thank you

Thanks for help. Indeed that removed the dots but it degrade overall quality. Grass and trees look more real with Alpha to coverage turned on but the dots mess everything up. Does everyone get them if they turn on Alpha to coverage or is it just specific to some of us ? And is there a way to supress them so they arent so visible? Except turning the option off?

Can u give urself saline bag and how? and can u store ur own blood? Im like full of those medic stuff, niddles, saline bags,blood kits, IV stuff.... but i just cant figure out how to use it? Can someone explain me the process? TY

And sometimes that body just starts moving in straight line....never stoping. If enyone else seen it.

As title is saying. Like, im alive now for like 2-3 days, and it seems like i found all there was to find...which is not that much. What bothers me is crafting? Can we do something already? -I have portable stove and i attached to it pot ...and even turned on fire. I have a bag of rice in my inventory and few bottles of water. But i cant combine that and cook rice. -ducktape.. What can i use it for? and so on....

Ooook soo.... I was there derping ~~ whole day long~~ when 2 zombies aggro me , i take my axe out to beat them to death..suddenly.. all i see is white!! i cant see anything but i can hear them beating the hell out of me , i crashed game..logged back in, same white glitch, logged back out, and back in glitch was gone zombies were gone but i was badly wounded. I fix my wounds, got blurred vision >> assume because i lost a lot of blood. Few minutes later i get ""sick"" status in inventory, my character starts to make those sick moaning sounds. So i sit down in middle of nowhere, drank alot of fluids, eat, and in next 20 minutes i lost "sicknes" status but the character is still moaning. Moaning stopped after i logged out...been playing for 1 hour now straight running around, with my vision blurred, and my character isnt thirsty anymore....like literally for past 1 hour i didnt have a single "im thirsty" message....i get hunger messages and statuses but thirst 0 points. And my blurred vision doesnt want to go off!!! Em i bugged?? I mean when everything was normal i was thirsty literally all the time....every 10 minutes he would ask for some fluids.....and now for 1 hour nothing. Just hungry from time to time. And when will i gain my blood back=?? If i will ever ..cuz i will loose my eyesight in real if i continue to play in this blurred thing....even if i stick morphine in my ass im still blurred ....i even stuff myself with a box of painkillers....nothing!! ?? anyone? I really dont wanna blow my head off after 6 hours of playing just because of a bugs. XD i know its pre alfa and shIt will happen but help help :D!!? wow dat post

I found bayonet and attached it to my m4, how to use it? Bipod,is it working, when i set it down i dont feel the difference? Pot+stove+rice+water=cant do anything yet? Ducktape, what can i use it for right now? Can i take my own blood out to use it later? What do i need to do so and how? Right now i have syringe, start kit, saline bag and blood bag kit. What am i missing because i cant use any of the above? And, how to use only one water purifier? I had found few since i started, it would say for example "7 left" but when i would drag it to bottle, whole pack would go away.

Its getting really annoying to hear a guy talk all the time and he is nowhere near u..... and this happens often. Right at this very moment someone has open microphone and i can litteraly hear him breathe to my ear and klicking his mouse. How can i disable just that global voice and not direct?

I haz "worn" suppressor....it makes same noise and it aggro zeds from same distance like if u dont have it. So i guess its pretty much useless other than u look pro.

Help! Every time i start new game im looking like Asian.... Male or Female randomly. Even if i make my character in main menu the way i want .. it will still become asian when i log in new game?? What am i doing wrong? Ty

yes and yes..... even first time i opened game i made custom character in main menu ...and it ended up looking Asian....since then i died many times and always creating new characters but it will always fresh spawn as Asian.....

I dont get any thirst messages at all....... like literally not even those system ones "i feel thirsty" and that indicator in inventory doesnt show for thirst at all. Only hunger. Like i said up there its has been an hour without a drink and i havent had any indication of thirst....

Im blurred for 2 hours straight.....my thirst indicator is broken or something because i havent had a sip of water in past 1 hour and my character doesnt message anything at all that he is thirsty. I only get hunger messages and i eat regulary to stay without indication that im hungry. But that drinking is bugged for me i think. First 1 hour after blood lost i eat and drink like pig....then i had to stop and i went 1 hr now without drink and my character is running like a mad man without any indication of thirst XD. which would be great if my vision wasnt blurred..... so fk.

What will one do untill they fix this? Im confused and lost

well as i said for past 1 hour im without any statuses only hunger and i eat regulary...but still blurred. Its not like i need 100% blood to see clear?

Been playing for past 1 hour with him groaning, there is no "sick" status anymore , i got message that my wounds are clean and do not hurt anymore....but im no longer thirsty nor hungry that much... before this sickness he was always hungry and thirsty, now i havent even seen the "thirsty" indicator.... and im running from town to town. Is a bug of sort?
