I posted about losing some gear not because it's a big deal but because it's an issue that should be adressed by the time the game is out of alpha/beta. Maybe it's not a bug but it was the easiest thing to do with this update, anyway if nobody would post about it we'd be lousy testers.

Same issue, I suddenly have the gear I had last week and all the new stuff is lost. I'm also getting messages my stomach is really full which didn't happen before.

It worked for me, I ate several cans and then started drinking from a well, it might have been 40 times until it said my stomach was full. Then the healing message appeared in the inventory and after a while that changed into healthy. edit: that was not with a newly spawned character and before that I had my wounds cleaned and got the message they were healed.

You might be right, and maybe some bandits choose Dayz to go hunting people exactly because it isn't a shooter game. Maybe they're looking for victims, not soldiers from the opposing army. Anyway to me it's part of the game, if I get caught or killed it means I wasn't stealthy enough, in DayZ SA I've only been killed by illness, servers and a wipe so far. Still I don't like bandits, especially the ones who don't even try to be creative.

It's a good feature and they should keep it, the fact that "PvP-winners" are complaining tells me it's working.

Did I say you said you were cool? ;) Nobody with common sense would expect everybody to be buddies in an apocalypse, you don't even have to have an apocalypse for that. But I don't think the way Dayz is played is a reflection of how most real people would act in a real apocalypse, the % of bandits would not be that high as in this game. And that's because a lot bandits in Dayz don't really care for the survival aspect, they're just going hunting for people thinking they're predators. In that case increasing the zombies won't help very much sadly. Maybe you would act differently in a real apocalypse, allthough your first post seemed quite enthousiastic about hunting people. :)

It's a survival game in the first place and that's the way I play it, watching out for bandits is a side effect making the game less humane. For me bandits are the bad guys, maybe a reflection of their character or a lack of imagination. Most people do not think you're cool.

Exactly the same problem here, it won't attach to my M4 or FN pistol. So now it's just sitting there in my backpack.

I was quite healthy and found a bottle of alcohol so I used it to clean wounds I might have. There was a message saying my wounds were clean and right after I get the "Sick" message. Someone else tried the same thing with that bottle and also became sick, seems weird.

I agree with a lot of posters here, so far I've been on 1 server with daytime and all the rest was night. Like a lot of adults I can only play after I come back from work so atm that limits me to testing night only. I don't mind the night but it would be nicer to see some daylight too from time to time, before my flashlight battery runs out.

The character I ended up with playing was completely different than the one I created, the only thing that hadn't changed was the gender. I don't mind but it seemed strange.
