    server hacking

    Well i was in Dallas 42 yesterday around 2:00-3:00 PM CST with a ghillie suit, just acquire an AS50 from a bandit i took down along with his M4-SD. I had the M4 packed in the alice pack he had along with 6 mags for it and next thing i know i turn into a priest! For this reason i lost the alice pack with everything in it! Someone hacked the server and changed everyone to a priest. Is anything being done to fix this issue? There were also reports from the friends i was playing with in the same server at the same time that they had a plane spawn on top of them though this did not happen to me i logged out quick enough not to have this happen. On a side note i am seeing many more hackers with weapons not native to DayZ. They spawn in with everything from GPS, NVG, thermal weapons, coyote packs, satchel charges, etc. This gives a very extreme disadvantage as they sit on top of a mountain top picking people off with their thermal rifles sitting next to an ammo box they spawned in. There has to be a way to auto ban people from doing this. IE if a weapon is spawned in that the server did not execute if i am not mistaken is attached to the players ID who spawned it as they are the ones executing the command and then to auto ban that players CD-Key from the hive entirely. If a player ID is not attached to the command line to auto de-spawn the weapon and auto ban at hive level to the person who had it in their pack/gear. The despawning method to prevent a unknowing player from picking up the weapon from the dead body of the banned player thus preventing him from accidentally getting banned.

    Dynamic Cities

    A few of my friends and myself sat down to set up a zombie map a long time ago and we noticed on every other map zombies or not the problem was always new players coming in and getting lost while veteran players had the upper hand and snugging into nice little sniper hides waiting players to cross by. To fix this issue we ran through a dynamic city spawn script with building/destroyed building percentage/trash/barricade arrays. This allowed every time the server reset the city would rebuild completely different each time preventing players from knowing exactly where a particular structure was placed but also randomly placed various trash throughout the cities and would randomly select which buildings would be destroyed in the city by percentage, etc. This kept the players on their toes. This method allowed us to take an existing map and populate cities of our own random and dynamic design. I was thinking this could be a method to allow you guys to select what buildings to populate in your own cities throughout the map which are all accessible structures for more loot spawn locations, hide locations and best of all fully dynamic. The same script system could be used for loot spawning randomly throughout the cities on the streets outside of buildings. Just a thought, if you guys are interested in this script let me know I should still have the code and arrays stored on my harddrive somewhere.
