Different departments work at different speeds. Do you expect the art guy to drop tools for a network coding emergency? Can an art guy do network coding or zombie pathfindfing or whatever stuff other departments do? They've hired new staff.. they take time to integrate and get up to speed. Influx: I dearly hope your are in your teens, you can't be older solely because adults don't whinge like that. C'mon.

I wish I could play BF4, COD, Titanfall, and all the other 1st person triple A shooters out there in 3rd person. Man that would be fantastic. In fact.. maybe we could play 1st person shooters, like dude, from like the perspective of an RTS?? That would be even better. Or dude, zoom out like a god game so's you can see the whole planet and see everybody hiding behind walls or camping roofs and stuff. Sigh.. shame the game got hijacked by kiddies. I appreciate you can choose whether to play in 1st or 3rd; but the perception of the game, in the public's eye, is of a 3rd person MMO. That is a shame.

The reason I don't like 3rd person is that it has imprinted DayZ in the public consciousness as exactly that: a 3rd person MMORPG (WoW etc). 1st person servers suffer a lot because of this. I see DayZ as a shooter/survival game based on real life physics and outcomes (almost), but with the magical realism of added zombies. Each to their own I suppose.. but seeing round corners when you yourself can't be seen is frankly lame. Claiming you're going to puke is lame too. hey ho.

If you follow the road east on that image, there's a new small industrial walled compound - look at the grey patches. It's been nicely modelled. Couldn't find much if any loot in these two new areas... probably underground or not finished. Nice stuff! Miss the old Northern wilderness of the mod though.

I would have thought sprinting full speed would use up far more water than walking. In real life, after running like a madman we reach for water, not a tin of beans - we're thirsty after doing that. I'm sure they will fix this disparity

Hi all. Caught sepsis from a Z attack.. now the countdown begins. To craft the sepsis cure I need to find Comfrey leaves. Apparently they are in fields and forests and can be spotted a good distance away (binoculars help so they say) when the grass draw distance stops, however you're meant to have zero chance before the draw distance to spot them, even if they're around your feet. It's a bit shit when you're vision is turning grey and you're almost dead Any hints please ?? or is there an alternative cure like antibiotics?
