Hi guys. So while browsing the internet I came across some pictures that game me an idea for a new area for the map. The site is in Bosnia-Herzegovina which used to be Yugoslavia and was the host of the 1984 Sarajevo Games. This area was war torn in the 90's and the site has been left for nature to reclaim it. Chernarus is based on a section of the Czech Republic... The Czech Republic GPD per capita is $195.7 billion us dollars. The Bosnia and Herzegovina GPD per capita is $17.05 billion us dollars and yet hosted the games in 1984. Also the capital city of Czech republic (Prague) hosted the games in 1916 and put bids in to have the summer games their in 2016. So its not impossible they could have built this.

I have no quarms with this. Wouldn't bother me either way but I can see that some people would enjoy this. On a second thought though, duel screen and watch a film on the second monitor?

Your new spawn has been surviving for a number of days already. It's not like he teleported into existance. He would know what happend, he would have seen, read or heard the news before his family and friends died all around him, untill he found himself all alone. As for the story progressing. This is your story, you create your charaters path.

Beans for diagram. There should be more gore in the game. No so much mortal kombat style pwnage but more environmental gore. A good example of this is L4D franchies if you just look at the props in the levels. This would take a very long time to do however. Games like L4D have small corridor based levels which are easier to get the details right unlike a 225sq km map.

Erm just log of dayz for a few hours, go play farcry 3 for your tiger fix. Well written post though, just don't agree or like the idea.

First thing I did in the Mod was disable the music. In fact first thing I do in any game is disable the music. Ruins immersion for me and I prefer to be able to hear everything that's actually in the game rather than some dude in a studio hammering a metal plate.

You'd have to have more $£&* than a stampede of diarrhetic camels for bandits to be able to track you. One lonely turd every 24 hours isn't going to help bandits much.

Lost count, but 3 bambies. My 3rd just felt too wrong. Normally I help them get geared then kill them once they trust me.
