Hi, So this KOS thing is a hot topic at the mo, well this may solve it but its not a thread about KOS as this would make me shit my pants! Also at this buggy alpha stage its probally not a good idea to implement due to environmental deaths. I would like to see a hive you can opt in to play on which limits you to one charater per day! If you die thats it, game over untill tomorrow! One issue I can see with this is salty tears hunters who jump on kill people then die and go play regular dayz just for lulz. To combat this there needs to be a 48 hour cool down on the regular hive. So basically be sure you want to opt in before doing so as you have to wait to switch back to the regular hive. Not only would kos be reduced, spawn cycling would end and the value of life would go up. This would make me shit my pants everytime I see a player as if I die thats it for today best play something else. I know most people will hate this but theres a few people I know who would opt in straight away!

Its not forcing people to do anything!? You can just play on the regular hive its a choice you can choose to be on this hive or the regular one where you can respawn as much as you want.

Edit: post already addressed did not read entire thread Easy! Cannot log out in high value loot spots, if a player alt4s or connection drops all that happens is charater gets moved away, not miles but far enough thats theres a bit of a walk back! Edit: did not read entire thread

KOS should stay in! I generally dont kos but will always stalk a player for a good while before deciding to kill them or let them live! Gives me a much better advantage as I can choose my shot wisely and way up the danger before acting. It also has added bonuses, if they come across another player and kos each other I can pop a round off and get 2 inventories for the price of one! Technically I dont kos as I dont randomly kill people, I plan and wait, but punishing it would ruin my lone wolf only out for number 1 play style.

Hello all, I'd like to point out right here at the beginning that this is not something that should be considered for a release for a long time, but once all main game play features etc. have been completed and bugs ironed out. This post relates to shoelaces, (forum search brought up very little) Shoelaces should have the same proprieties as string, they could be used for; 1. Tying shoes 2. Repairing shoes (to a degree) 3. Tying of many other forms (Like duck tape but no where near secure) 4. Fixing back packs, 5. Adding one or 2 slots to back packs. 6. Trip wire 7. Tourniquet to slow down bleeding, you could tie it to the limb required. 8. Suicide 9. Trips and falls due to loose shoelaces (you've all done it) 10. Cloths lines across doors And so on.... 11. Clean your teeth.. (NuckFuts) The possibilities of shoelaces are endless.
