As Tio said.. Change your download server and restart steam, see if that helps. Check http://store.steampowered.com/stats/content/ to help pick a server In the Steam window. View -> Settings -> 'Downloads + Cloud'(TAB) -> 'Under the Download region section in the dropdown

have you done a www.speedtest.net just to check how your interent is performing at the moment. See what you get on there compared to steam. May show a problem with steam or your internet provider.

This is true that clans/friends will still use 3rd party. However it would be fun to just randomly broadcast on channels just to see if you get anything back. You never know it may be an easy way for friendlys to start playing together, or banditsruining somones day.

Its not uncommon to get geared. My charater has about 7 clips of M4 ammo, M4 with full toys, full medical supplies, etc. I've never server hopped I just know where to go and never die. Also if you kill someone you have access to all there stuff. Its not hard to get gear at this stage of the game. As many people have already said you can run like usain bolt if you get your fists out.

I really did think this thread was about pulling unlimited parashoots out of your ass. IRL - I jumped over a sea wall and unforunatly there was no sea. (yes i was drunk) Anyway, I broke my leg in 13 places had a plate and 12 screws and it was only about 13ft on to sand. Took 6 months untill I went back to work. If this had happend in the dayz world I imagine I would have died within a day or two.

Why not look at the long term. You can't create a heli with full simulated avionics in 3 days. So why not start throwing ideas around now while its in alpha rather than try to cram it in later down the line in beta when they should be ironing out bugs rather than adding content.

Could be a bug. healing doesn't happen straight after the hunger messages disapear you have to keep eating and drinking to get to that point. Alternatively you should always use a condom..

Agree with this, standard cars, no guns but passengers should be able to shoot obviously with large loss to accuracy unless the car is stationary.
