Guys there is an easy alternative to finding maps called dayzdb. Google it.

You are either joining a daytime server, or you have your gamma and brightness all of the way up. With the flashlight, did you make sure the batteries were IN the flashlight :) If so, press space (default) to raise your flashlight. If that doesnt work it could be a connection issue.

Extremely common in cars. You can also find a full map by pressing shift+tab, then clicking web browser at the bottom left and type in dayzdb.

I couldn't see this happening and even if it did not in the alpha. Hahaha the title reminded me of another post about an anti freshspawn suicide group post. "4 freshspawns were shot in order to prevent suicide" I like their idea better lol

I've had it happed a few times, once I had a zombie hit me, started bleeding and a guy ran up and said friendly. I assumed it was safe so I started bandaging and he ran up and knocked me out in one punch.Now I either stay away from them or if I see one near me, I say stay away and if he comes near me I murder them.

I don't always combat log, but when I do I'm probably not armed, or I'm alone. If I fire a shot, I stay in the game til the guys dead or I am.

I honestly disagree with this. There comes a point when you get tired of getting knocked out by fresh spawns when you are fully geared.

I like to think of it like this. I just ran up on I guy and shot at him, he combat logged. Now a guy fires on me, so why should I get killed.

More spawn points were added, spawns moved more north east (toward solnichiy) and I'm pretty sure there are a few further inland spawns, like in novy
