    I was in Cherno the other night and a guy waddled into the house I was in. I stayed hidden and he peeked around the corner and fired. Well my axe knocked him down. I bandaged and proceeded to play operation on his corpse. Sorry for his bad luck but I had nothing more than a soda.

    My guess about the hatchet space issue is that you won't be getting it out that often once on the toolbelt. It seems to be a good melee weapon until you get a gun, then it's a tool for getting firewood. If it were equipped to your pistol slot then maybe it would be feasible for switching.

    Those were the only supplies in the game forever. So sorry for your loss but that's the nature of the game. The fixes will always have cracked eggs to deal with, but I want a tasty omelette and not a poop sandwich.

    Well I have to agree that these zeds are just too alert for my tastes. Rocket, you turned the knob on the zombies to f'n crazy; now let's test the new things with a bit less frantic chase scenes?

    I crawled to a barn and made it inside and up to get a rifle. I turned to leave and two Zeds ran in the door. I had to waste bullets for shift-crouch walking up the stairs. Turn down the aggro.

    The hotfix is decent. You might want to buy some cheese before you whine so much. At least we would have a snack.

    I guess you never pissed off a woman then. They can swing weapons just as well as any "young lad." You may want to start hanging out with some females and leave the boys alone.

    strange enough the only drink I have found since the hotfix was a Mt. Dew. If only the zombie train following me had let me drink it in peace...

    Someday I hope I can be as amazing and insightful as you. For now I will continue to function in the real world and practice flexing in the mirror to show how tough I am. A game that alienates a large portion of the player base may be a challenge and make the hardcore fans salivate, but it won't equal dollar signs. I don't mean for them to sell out and make it easy mode, but find that sweet spot and stop listening to the forum trolls with their over-inflatd e-peens...

    I have to agree that for a new player this new patch is a bit of a large learning curve. I was getting used to the new zed reactions and was able to lose them, but the loot table seems a bit frugal for my tastes. I am not asking for LMG's in the barns but at least some food, water, or weapons here and there. When the only weapon in a town is the double-barreled shotgun; things are going to get tough.

    I don't mind being without a weapon when I start but if you let zombies spawn in lootable houses and make the loot you finally do find cans and maybe a watch; the initial hurdles are a bit high. I don't want to be a killing machine 5 minutes after spawning, but when I hit up a big town and find nothing in the school, firehouse, or apartment; I wonder if I am just on a bad server or if this is the norm.
