They are broken, fuel tanks cant be repaired and what not if they take any damage. Its one of the things the early Day-z community really enjoyed and I think we will find them back in the game soon.

This is not how the ban system works really Dayz has a central ban list which all servers update manually. If hes GUID banned then its best to contact a server admin, he will be there for a reason, people are not added lightly. As an above poster said its best to just change your profile first.

Hi Guys, We have just put our UK8 server up! There may be teething issues although we have sorted a lot already, and thanks to all the people who have put up with the restarts and what not. Server is run on a spanking new i7 quad with 20 gigs of ram on a 100mb/s line! Our server rules are: - English language only please, it creates a better community if we all speak the same lingo - 150 is the max ping, sorry, we want to try and keep it as lag free as possible, ArmA has enough issues already - Any exploting or suspected hacking is obviously a no no! - Have fun! we all have enough boring stuff to do with education and work! Our Promise to you survivors and banditos is! - We will not kick people active in the game to make space for admins. - We will do our best to give notice before any server restarts in order to allow people to get safe The playstyle is: - Spotting off - Crosshairs off - 3rd person on If there is any feedback or suggestions please send me a message on the forum or the #DayZ irc. UK8 is comming back up, It is in testing we have moved onto a new box that was used for E3 This box is in the london data centre (yay) for multiplay.co.uk hopefully things will be nice and smooth, and scripts.log works again WOOP see you guys in game!

Relogged could fill jerry. After the Jerry was emptied into UAZ could no longer fill it again, instead got save UAZ option at tank. Also from 2 vehicles all gear had dissapeared but gear remained saved in the tents

lots of zombies, and the players are far far better equipped usually there, you may well be shot at by people with high powered guns and night vision. then again you may be lucky and find it empty!

i like temperature at the moment, i feel it should degrate a little slower, about 33% but apart from that it works great!

Faithwolf we were considering a shorter day night cycle, perhaps 6 hours... to allow people a bit of both but that is under discussion, it is also very difficult to implement at the moment and we would have to wait for Rocket to endorse this idea before we go ahead with it

that was ak74 of sorts, impossible to tell which varient, but that was ak74u, ak74, or ak74 kobra, they are the only guns that sound like that in ArmA 2 blame the ladder taking so long for your death, i would!

erm, well in dayz veteran allows third person, it takes away crosshairs and spotting however. normal veteran and expert dont really have classifications, when you set up your server you can define what rules you want with third person, crosshairs, spotting etc etc its best to find a server with a ruleset you like and stick to that one as you can try and repair a vehcile on it or have a tent or two to store you surplus gear for when you die. sorry i couldnt be more helpful, there is just no definitive answer

sounds like a possible hacker unfortunatly, ive seen people spawning artilary strikes and what not, its best to report this to the server admin and they can go through the log to see whats happening

its easier to install it on steam but the boxed edition works fine, its just slightly more difficult to install

outside the kill radius they can still do small amounts of damage and knock players out cold, you can throw them much further than you think

1) They have set locations, but wont always be there, for instance there may be 25 spawns but only 5 of them on the map at one time 2) Yes you can and it is bound to that server 3) Yes it does although it can occasionally dissapear just like tents 4) Yes they do. Vehicles are currently spawned at the start of a server. Until that server bugs to the database no more vehicles can spawn, it is theoretically possible for one person to have every single vehicle on a server.
