    They are placeholder graphics. Also, yes it would have been easier for them on a different engine provided that they had the budget and time to make a game like that. Engine issues currently are more about fixing minor issues and creating huge ones which can be overcome it just makes for a frustrating alpha phase.

    M4A1s are extremely common and they all work... Mosins I see around everywhere in residential, medical, industrial and military.

    Day/Night based on time ingame?

    I was playing for over 4 hours on the one server, it eventually goes to day time. My mate also on day time dcs and rejoins, it is pitch black night for him but full bright day for me. Really? So I disconnected and reconnected and now I am in full night time. So something is wrong?

    Any updates on the 'bug fix verification'? I am kind of hoping it comes out this weekend.

    I am quite sure they planned not long ago to release the alpha sometime during the middle of December. They will never confirm a date because they keep running into issues that prevent them from wanting to release the game. If the latest bug is fixed and nothing else has arisen then they will release the alpha but until then let us all just keep our fingers crossed.

    I agree, Standalone is coming. But when?!?!?! Anyway in response to a previous page comment as to what it means when the build is locked down, Dean indicated that would mean it is going to be released provided there are no other game breaking bugs that come with verifying the one they just fixed. Anything is possible let us hope they have got it all sorted out.

    The topic goes quiet because we get bored and lose interest. Until rocket comes out and confirms the release again for "soon" we just wait.

    I think that the animations are pretty good, I like the Arma 2 animations but that's just me. They will make the animations smoother as the game enters different stages but it is not a priority.

    Fair enough, I accept your points yet I have nothing else to do until I get my PS4 on Friday apart from complain about DayZ not being out lol.

    Actually they said that there will be no limit on the alpha copies they sell on steam. Also, hype is not what I am asking for. I am sick of anticipating a game that I consider will be amazing and then being disappointed each week it isn't released and there is still no word on whether or not it's coming out this year!

    I think that the idea is to provide things like this in patches some time after the full games release, tbh they should work on Chernarus itself atm and make it amazing.

    I don't want to give admins too much control, I have had so many experiences with abusive admins! It ruins the game and should not be tolerated.

    It didn't work, everyone got refunds. Those who wanted them anyway. Good point but I think traveling to other maps is a big difficult to do atm. Anyway I am moving off the topic of my disappointment with the release until rocket says something.
