Head to the North West portion of the map, (NOT the NWAF though). There is never anyone there. There are some places with lots of loot like garages, police stations, and office buildings. You have to be willing to leg it though. You can loot up along the way with no issues once you get away from the death traps the big cities have become.

I logged in last night with a fresh spawn, (somehow lost my character). I ran around for a bit and didn't see a single zombie anywhere. Also, there was practically NO loot. I found a single can of tuna and that was it. No rotten fruit, portable stoves, shoes, or any of the other junk loot that I normally see all over the place. This morning I log on with the same character on a different server. I run to Novo and I don't see a single zombie there either. I run into the tower and I find a LITTLE bit of loot there but nothing worth noting. I then procede to loot all the buildings in that immediate area and there is hardly anything. All the doors were closed so I don't think it was looted prior to my arrival. There was just literally no gear anywhere.

I have been playing SA from release and I have yet to fall to my death from any height. I've climbed smoke stacks, stairs, and virtually every ladder on the side of most buildings. Not a single fall.

I like it. The night before patch I logged out in some bushes behind one of the buildings. Next day I logon and I was like WTF? Where am I? After a couple of minutes of running around I realized what happened and was like :) cool. I just ran to the town nearby and pretty much kitted up from there. Now I'm roaming the wilderness again looking for new stuff.

I couldn't care less about it.

I think the crappy flashlight and battery are worthless too. If anything you should start with a basic set of clothes, (which we do), and MAYBE a wooden club of some type since there are trees everywhere and fabricating a beat-down stick shouldn't be too hard. Other than that...NOTHING else.

Yeah, the zed spawn is kinda crazy. Killed a zombie this morning and when I turned around it re-spawned right in front of me. I killed it and then another spawned just a few feet ahead. WTF. :huh:

My ROE? Avoid other players if at all possible. If that's not possible. Kill them.

I've been playing SA since a week or so after it was released and I have not encountered a single hacker. None. Nada. Zip. I do believe they are out there but I am just saying that I have not personally encountered a single one. Low pop FTMFW.

I usually jump on in the AM before going to work. Find an empty server and grab some gear. By the weekend I'm usually completely healthy, armed, and stocked with food/drink.
