The number of concurrent players in DayZ is probably so low because of how buggy it is atm, some people probably bought it just to support the team, but haven't played, some people played once and are waiting on more updates to get a better experience, so yeah who knows, I think that the counter for survivors is the amount of people that have bought it, not necessarily played, so yeah I might be wrong, but if it isn't a bug with the survivor counter I don't really see why they would put wrong statistics out there when rocket himself is telling people to buy later when it's less buggy

You can just re-bind the inventory and bam, problem solved

How do people find ammo in this game?! yesterday I found 3 M4A1s, yes 3, and absolutely no ammo

This, on the others I'm like meh, sure whatever That would make sense if food and water was more common, but if I need to check every building in cherno to find 1 can of beans when I'm already about to die to starvation, then it's doesn't because if the game is supposed to be so realistic, then a human can be 40 days without food if properly hydrated and about a week without water if properly fed, sooo yeah either more realistic hunger system (meaning I don't get hungry and dizzy in 2 hours, but at least 4-5 hours) or make food more common are the only fixes I see, on the thirst system I don't really complain because it's fairly ease to maintain hydrated, could be a bit less common to get thirsty imo, but I haven't had any water needs, I always find a couple of water bottles fairly easy, and ponds are everywhere

So I found a bug, I was running up to pavlovo, and it says I'm thirsty, so I go into the inventory and drink from my cantine, a bit later it says I need to drink something, I drink again, happened a couple of time after that, so I'm drinking from my cantine but my thirst is not satiated, I'm posting this here because for some reason I can't use the bug tracker thingy, so if anybody else found this or want to report it, please do EDIT: Before anyone goes out and scream at me saying it's alpha deal with it, I understand it is alpha and I'm not complaining, I'm notifying a bug I found so it can be fixed

Yeah but I was drinking just when it started saying I was getting thirsty, but instead of going back to not being thirsty and starting the process again, it just kept getting worse as if I wasn't drinking at all

It could be considering the game is on it's first day of alpha release, but don't take my word for it EDIT: Plus as far as I know Battleye would keep your info, you couldn't get away with deleting a couple of files imo

So I've been following DayZ for more than a year now, because I'm in love with it, but I didn't have a computer to run it on, now I do have a computer that can run it, but here's the question for all of those that might have a realistic estimate on the SA release, should I buy ArmA 2 now with all of the sales going on to play in the meantime before DayZ or just wait for the SA? I honestly don't think it's coming out on december, but I might be wrong, the update rocket put up gave me both happiness and disappointment, happiness because it sounds like it's coming out soon, but disappointment because it made me think it wasn't going to be out before 2014, but who am I to say when it's released? Who knows, maybe rocket tomorrow comes out and says the SA has been ready for weeks and they've just been trolling the community a bit, and it comes out tomorrow.... So yeah.... Wait or A2? And by wait I mean like if you think it's going to come out this month or in like february, so I'm not wasting my money on a game that I'm going to play for a month before the SA comes
