I was just curious as to how saline can give you blood back. If I am not mistaken it is simply sterile salt water. Can anyone explain?

Here is a list of good Standalone ideas, some from me, some from others, some modified from others. You can leave your suggestions here as well. Tape Recorders- You can record your voice into it and let whoever finds your body listen. I love this idea. Related is a suggestion about being able to broadcast to people from Green Mountain. I think that if it is only for people with radios (walkie talkies would not realistically reach across Chernarus) and people could turn their radio off as to avoid the music and gibberish that would inevitably come through. Skills- It is established that life must have value and skills have been suggested. My take is that we should start with no skills and somehow acquire them. Handcuffs- I think handcuffs need a buff so that, you know, they actually work and people have to take a good minute or two to struggle free. After all, only one of us is Batman.I understand that badly damaged handcuffs are much easier to break out of than pristine ones, but they need to up the spawn rate of pristine ones so that you can acquire them. Blood types-If we want anyone to ever use blood bags instead of saying "Why bother when I could use 5000 blood saline" then we REALLY need to make it easier to determine blood type. Here is my suggestion- you know your blood type on spawn. Seriously, how do you NOT know this? You could say amnesia, but really? Anyway, it would be very good gameplay wise. Imagine some scenarios- There are some blood bandits who hold you up and take your blood. They ask another player's blood type and say that if they tell them the wrong type then they will kill him. So, he will likely comply. But what if he doesn't, does the bandit have a test kit? Chances, chances... And besides, saline overshadows blood too much right now.

I may be able to get you guys some footage later of just how easy it is to break out of handcuffs. Also, I do not think you get the cuffs back even if you use keys.

To clarify- everybody can do everything, just not very well at first.

Lol I know. Tape recorder could not really be abused much because you would not have to listen to it. But yes, it may be a bit too server-intensive.

Paper and pen is broken right now when fixed that should be ok enough.

Boats may be nice if they developed the map far into the ocean, which I do not know if they did in SA.

Do these make you run faster?

I say we do not give random skill values, unless we want to see bodies of those with a class they dislike near the coast lying suspiciously under tall buildings. Instead, your guy gets better at doing things each time he does the certain thing.

Ah ok. But I think then that it should give a lot less blood than blood bags.

And in addition to this, also likely a rare trigger-filing kit to turn your semi-auto weapon into full-auto only.

Can water from ponds make you sick? It has ver made me sick before yet there are purification tablets and people seem to think it can make you sick.

Want to add a bit of realism to the game? Then add .22 semi-auto versions and non-.22 semi-auto versions of military guns to the game. They would be a bit of a rare find, but not really that rare. Really, how many people are going to have a high-end Firearms License for full-autos compared to people with no license that buy either cheaper .22 semi-auto versions of guns or civilian-legal semi-auto copies?

What exactly does this do? I know it restores just a little hunger and thirst, but does it do anything else? I have heard it gives you energy, but idk if that is just referring to food.
