About not needing to simulate anything due to player skills being simulation, it is a LOT harder to accurately shoot a gun in real life than in a game, where, if there were no dispersion, it would be putting the sight over what you want to hit and clicking. If you look at statistics, almost all shots in wars fought by TRAINED SOLDIERS miss. -

I have put the sights right on a zombie at about 10 yards and missed 3 or four shots. A friend of mine has had a similar experience. -

There may be an actual canon answer. I don't know if they were at Gorka, but at the beginning of the vanilla arma 2 campaign, there were Chernorussian Defense Forces defending a church who get killed defending it. -

It will bother the crap out of me if they use the wrong ammo in very many guns at all. The whole ak74 firing 5.56s is rediculous. It's a Russian gun firing a Russian 5.45 round and they really want to give it the 5.56 nato? That would be so annoying. -

Thank you guys for being a mature and constructive community. You have furthered this discussion and now I have come to the conclusion that there should be more like a 40-70 percent chance for guns to spawn with mags, but little or no ammo, and it should apply to rifles as well (but with a slightly lower chance to spawn with a mag). -

I agree it is a bit silly how little the gun does, but they really need to change the damage sytem. Wearing a thick coat or vest would make a lot of difference against that little round. -

Know I'm late here- but I am saying that is one ADVANTAGE, because, take, for instance, the Magnum. I would have to disagree with you on it being "so good". It has very, very poor accuracy,no attachments, and only six shots. In exchange, it has usability. It has common ammo and you don't need a mag. So if you were to put more work into it, an FNX would pay off much more. But that's the thing, finding that mag. -

I know if it were realistic every gun would have a mag, but it is meant to be part of the game finding one and that it is also a reason for people to use certain weapons like the magnum and the upcoming longhorn, because they don't need mags. But still maybe make it a 50% chance at most.And it would be a good idea for weaker rifles like the sporter too, but for, say, an m4, rarity is the price you pay for such a weapon. -

I think zombies should respawn very slowly. Maybe 30 minutes after you kill one. And the problem with the fast zombies is the HUGE jump between gun and no gun. They are literally no problem with a gun and nightmares with no gun. And you can't get a gun because if you try to take a step into a place for ANYTHING you are mauled -

Well, you can find a few bandits and put Burlap Sacks over their heads and handcuff them, then line them up in a row, grab your m4 and gun them down while screaming, "For great justice!"
