No loot anywhere (1.7.1.1)

Food got pretty rare suddenly. My bro and I swept most of Cherno and the outlying farms and found nothing. We almost starved until we found a delicious piggy. -
Bandit's, I have a question for you.

I have the perfect solution: Shooting other people makes you explode. Yep, perfect. :D -
Yay!!! Super awesome, thanks Rocket! Quick question, was the crouch visibility changed? I thought I saw a post about it in the last thread.

DogPants, are you... from this world? What is this "compromise" thing you are doing? Haha, glad to see that there are some intelligent and thorough thinking people on the internet, nice post!

This is how this community is going, just like the rest of the internet: -
Seems to be a lot of negative threads/posts....

Unfortunately, people suck :/ -
New hopping animation is great. No weapons is fine. Zombie vision means that running like a madman is better than trying to be sneaky. Unless you wanna crawl all day and still risk being spotted, sprinting all over town is the best option. Increased zombie attack range only worsened the attacking through walls & in buildings.

No weapon at start - Awesome Teamwork

I've gotten the opposite. Every person I've encountered so far (about 5 or 6) has been even more hostile than usual. I ran by some guys who clearly had gear and weapons while I had nothing. I was being tailed by zombies. Instead of leaving me alone or helping me, the guys followed my with their guns and kept shooting until I died. Before that life, I tried to help a guy being followed by zombies but instead he turned around and shot me. -
The thing is, won't they still hear you running after you break LoS? The only way I was able to break away was by entering a building and leaving through another door.

So, just to get us off the topic and rage of 1.7.1 for a bit, what do you guys think about having traditional zombies? I was chatting with my bro and he mentioned that having zombies that can only shamble (albeit about 150% faster than when they are non-aggro) but can only be killed with a headshot and/or come in larger numbers. Shooting them in the legs/lower body can potentially cause them to be crawlers, but no matter how many bullets you unload in them, they cannot completely die until you strike the head. With this method, the challenge comes from more durable and possibly more numerous zombies, making flight instead of fight a more viable option sometimes. Also, given that they couldn't chase you across the world, you can actually hide from them if you put enough distance between you. Anyway, thoughts? I'm not asking to put this in the game right now if ever, considering how much is on the dev's plate at the moment. Just... thoughts.

Indeed you are. So' date=' make it easier for carebears like you to play? LOL. That's why you are casual, my CoD friend. Oh, i'm sooo sorry, carebear, that ir's hard to go loot those delicious barracks. As a conclusion - please, die. Mmm... aren't you just a nice guy? :P No, you aren't. Everybody just change your tampons and chill out.

Hardcore fanboys Vs General gamers

The internet makes me cry :( -
I have tried by making another Arma profile but it just changes your name and face if you decided to alter that but sticks you on the same guy.
-
Pro: -No weapons is fine Con: -Increased vision and respawn rate of zombies is overly difficult. -Losing zombies doesn't work consistently since they can run faster than you.
-
Don't assume everyone is you.

Are they typically positive or do they end with one man riddled with bullets? For me, it seems that half of my encounters are for the benefit of mankind whereas the other half are about the exchange of ammunition. Today, for example, while trying to escape the airfield, a single snap sounded off before I promptly collapsed to the ground. During my scavenge for supplies in my new body, I happened across a guy with camo suit and winchester heading to the fire station in Cherno who didn't see me as he passed on the other side of the building I was on. I asked, "FRIENDLY!?" but got no response. Instead, a dozen nearby zombies spotted me and gave chase. I put it in full sprint and dashed past the guy who was now right around the corner. Instead of putting a bullet in my butt like what happened on my first day, he started picking off the zombies that were giving me chase. This stranger was willing to risk his life and potentially draw more zombies to him in order to give me the chance to escape with my life. After leading the remainders out of the city, I was able to finish them with my revolver. So, after that unnecessarily long story, how are your experiences with people, good or bad?

True, true... I suppose what I was getting at here is that I'm seeing a lot of this: "F*ck you Rocket, you are ruining the game" or "So-and-so isn't working/ingame, fix it Rocket, kthnx bye." Even if it's an internet community, politeness and just being good to one another goes a long way. Unfortunately, it IS the internet, so that tends to mean nothing. Which is why we have bandits :P
