    "Hey, I know you!"

This is a pretty glorious idea. I like it....
  2. Wish I had that luck. I've seen one ever. :P
  3. Now, I thought of this in the shower a few days ago and have been debating whether i should post about it or not, but in the end I sort of said, eh whatever. DayZ Roulette, would be russian roulette but modified so that it works with DayZ. Now, the idea would take... 7 people minimum, and that's what would make it hard to pull off. Two Participants, and five(or more) guys organizing. The five organizing would consist of three people with 2 guns(primary + secondary) where only one had a bullet. The other two(or more) would be marksmen watching the scene from a distance. Contestants would choose who they wanted to fire a bullet at them with either their secondary or primary. Of course this would play out until the unlucky contestant would receive a bullet to the Dome. The luckier of the two parties would then be given a map and or told/led to a place where the reward loot would be given. Now, you might be thinking, "I can get all the loot myself. Why should I care about some stupid mini-game?" You could get all the loot yourself, but the goal of this would be to have two pre-selected players(told perhaps through forum PM or something) freshly spawned and sent/led to a location where they'd participate. They'd have nothing to lose, and everything to gain(assuming that the victory loot was something substantial from veteran players[car, guns, food, tools, ect.]). The thing we'd gain as Veteran players? We'd gain entertainment. Whatever that entertainment may involve. TL;DR: ~3 guys with primaries+ secondaries and 1 bullet between the 6 guns ~2+ guys to shoot down any interference ~2 Newly spawned Characters ~Fat loot to be given to the surviving participant. The location of which would be revealed to him/her after the game.
  4. Glad you guys got this sorted out.

    Dayz in Editor?

I know that in the Armory Zombies are under Animals... Idk that they'll attack you or anything, because throughout my testing of the weapons in the armory they just stood in place and looked around.
  6. In my oppinion.... "Shit happens" If you're willing to push forward, to try harder, to have some dedication, you keep moving. I've had my fair share of failings, and really the only way to adjust to bandits and "banditry," which is sometimes just killing, is to avoid anyone you don't know. I do it, the only time I care to attempt to "team up" with people is when I'm freshly spawned with my bandage, painkillers and my flashlight. That's the only time it's even reasonably safe, and if they shoot you... then so what? They've gained a bandage and some painkillers, and you didn't lose anything except for a little bit of your time. The general rule is if you don't cause trouble, there won't be any trouble. Keep a safe distance and we'll both be dandy. TL;DR: If you value your stuff, only "team up" when you're freshly spawned. Furthermore, be wary of anybody. If you keep your distance, we'll be dandy. Don't talk to strangers.
