What has happened? Haven't been on the forums for months, it used to be that on every post of Lee there was a few pages of pure hate. A pity. I used to enjoy the comments though.

Are you here on the forum just to flame? Acid tried to contribute to the forum by placing a good idea on the forum. Then you come, place a stupid post and flame. You say it annoys the mods that people post the same kind of topics over and over. But what annoys them more, is people who flame, they start fights and the mods have to lock the topics and hush the fights. So please, don't act so stupid against new people on the forum. You have been new on the forum too, only six days ago...

On the first sight, I really liked the idea, but... It can be used as a trap too. Imagine. You are in the tower on the firestation, your opponent is on the roof. The only thing you have to do is abort, the log out timer will begin, you will lie down to go to sleep. Your oponent knows this too. He'll come in the tower, thinking you are sleeping. But, you cancel the log out timer, stand up while your predator is coming to you. Because he expects you to sleep, you have a huge advantage on him. BOOM Your enemy is dead. I like your idea but it can be easily used as a bandit tactic. Not being able to cancel your logout timer is no option. For you may be safe when you go to sleep, but what if you just started your logout timer and a zombie comes walking around the corner and starts to eat you? I'm sorry, I like your idea, but it will only create more nasty exploits.

I'm afraid they stopped working on it, it's all about the SA now.

Having a discussion in the DayZ forum, impossible. Ofcourse I know what's the topic's about. Let's say you have this sanity system. How will it work? A bandit suit? I hope you thought of something better. How in god's name would you want to make a simulated sanity system, please tell me. Your charactar would go insane, do you have to bandage yourself 24/7 because your character is cutting himself cuz he is depressed? Do you want your character crying all the time? A simulated sanity system. Couldn't think of a worse idea.

... 1k vehicles, self bloodbag, auto refuel. Do you also spawn in an airplane?

That's a great idea! I hope Rocket will read it, it would be good to have improvised weapons in DayZ.

I honestly don't know on what I can say that they have a point, because they just haven't. They keep saying the same thing, even though it's already clear that they're wrong. Edit: Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't your report about real life soldiers. Killing in real life is way different than killing in dayz. So yes, I was right. You were posting bullshit.

You found a report about killing. But, this is a videogame. And the report is about real life killing. The winner feeling isn't about endorphine. It's about dopamine. When you accomplish something, you get dopamine. The more you wanted to accomplish your goal the more dopamine you get. When you accomplished killing someone in a video game where it's pretty hard to kill (not like bf), most people feel like they accomplished at killing their opponent, and the dopamine is released in their brains. Which gives them the winner feel.

Ain't killing without a proper reason cruel? Isn't cruelty what's the game about?

Since my other post was deleted by moderators for linking a torrent download website, I'll post a new one without the link. I use fraps for recording (just downloaded dxtory, hope it will be better), and vegas pro for editing. You can ofcourse buy it, which is very expensive. But there are other ways to get it for free, something with a bay and a pirate.

If you don't like KoS and pvp, play another game. It's a part of the game. And, k/d ratio? What game do you think you're playing? This isn't Call of Duty. If the game is to cruel for you for you get shot too much. Just play some game that suits you better, where there is no pvp. Another option is the carebear servers. It's just like DayZ, but then without pvp. Posting aggresive posts don't make you more believeable, they just make you seem dumb and angry.

I also, sometimes, feel the urge to help a clueless person in dayz. But never just give it to them, for they can kill you when you turn around. I always break their legs, and put morphin and weapon and food 50 metres from them. When I leave they can get it. Not a second before that. I see this as the perfect tactic for helping them. I don't know how the legbreaking and morphin system works in the SA, but in the mod it works fine with this tactic.

Killing in dayz is always justified, for it's a part of what's the game about.

There are a lot anti kos threads, but not much kos threads. I'm glad somebody places pro-kos with actual arguments.

Try to use interpunction and to use your enter key on your keyboard. Reading your story is not very pleasant to read. What also helps is trying to make the story sound epic, because right now, it really doesn't. It seems you were pretty mad that he called you a faggot, it really touched you. Maybe you're still in the denial phase.

I found a M8 Sharpshooter at Balota barracks. This is the first time I ever found this gun. Does anybody know the damage of the gun? Range efectiveness? Anything else? Trader price? I searched for it on google but couldn't find anything.

This is a warning. Do not play on the EU148 server. It's run by badmins. They fly in helis en planes. And when you kill them? You get wiped of your gear!
