I would love muzzle loaders, they should become common while other weapons will become slightly rarer. Paper (easy to find or rip a page out of a book), black powder and a ball will craft cartridges. Something like a baker rifle, but russian ofc. sorry for bumping an old thread but I didn't want to open a new one

Hello, I just came up with the idea of the Python having different barrels, there are 2.5 ,3 ,4 ,6 and 8 inch barrels, and I.m.o. there should only be like 2 different ones ( like a 4 inch one and an 8 inch one). The different barrels should affect size of the weapon (inventory slots) and performance like range, and slight differences on the damage and velocity.

These are the parameters I'm using. I've even tried removing the parameters, removing the config file etc. but I've still got the issue. -cpuCount=6 -maxMem=8192 -maxVram=1024 -nosplash -skipintro -world=ChernarusPlus I'm not too sure about the last parameter but I had the issue even without it.

It'd be awesome if the devs would add the music from the mod in, toggleable, and after the major problems and additions have been fixed/added. And you could change the music with the help of the workshop once introduced. Would enhance the game atmosphere, like in the mod, you were crouching and crawling to avoid zombies, and speaking of that, zombies should be more of a threat, but can be easier avoided.

Well, I don't know. The devs of dayz and BI think of an situation and story, which would give some additions in the weaponry arsenal sense, example, Chernarus went on war with russia and the americans assisted them and supplied them, for western weapons, or the weapons were supplied because of the zombie apocalypse, I don't know much about the story of chernarus, but who knows what could have happened.

My example. Mosin Nagant, SKS etc, should be able to be loaded even if rounds are in the non-detachable magazine. R could be used. Loading should take longer, loading with stripper clips and other assistances should be significantly lower (speedloaders, revolvers, shotguns etc.) -

If the devs are so lazy about the ammunition types, why didn't they let the AKM fire 7.62x51s? Btw I've seen on the Wiki that the 7.62x54R is confirmed -
It's like the weapon was made for me, very accurate, high caliber, and can fire full auto (for very close ranges)

I just read in the wiki, that the rounds the Mosin Nagant is chambered in, are 7.62x51, weren't they the x54. Because the the x51 are the NATO version, and there were no x51's back then. Did they change the x54s to x51s for some new weapons, and then add new x54s?
