  1. To the people complaining about DayZ being too hard I just have one suggestion for you: get a buddy or two, or join a clan Lone Wolf is not how this game is meant to be played, it should be absolutely grueling if you choose to play by yourself. Think about it...In an actual zombie apocalypse how long do you think anyone would last on their own? (sans turbo survivalist/military types) At least find a partner or two to run with if you like the "go it alone" playstyle. These forums are very active and it is very easy to find other players and meet up with. Don't like interacting with strangers? well damn, sounds like a personal problem to me. When I first started playing I had a couple friends I would server hop and scavenge for supplies with, usually no more than 5 of us altogether. But they all eventually stopped playing and shortly thereafter as did I. But about a week ago I decided to join a clan and I have to say, immediately breathed life back into DayZ for me. The game has been much more fun and a lot more rewarding since then. Like I said above, I'm sorry if this sounds pretty asshole but it's the plain and simple truth. I am very happy with the direction they are taking with the mod, I want it to be hard as shit so all the "deathmatch kids" move on to something else. Join a clan/community and the game will be ten times more enjoyable.
  2. I keep getting a "Bad CD Key" error when I try to join Dallas 20. I am able to join other servers just fine. This happened after the server crashed and corrupted my character data, putting me in the debug forest naked. I also sometimes get a BattlEye error saying that I was banned for "Malicious Comments" Anyone have any idea what the hell is going on here?

Bad CD Key on Dallas 20

A couple of my clanmates are getting this problem. We were playing on D20 and it crashed a few times and then after that we started to get the bad cd key problem. This was quite a few hours ago.

As you can see by the thread, Jack got a lot more interest in people joining up than he initially expected. Also I'm pretty sure he needs sleep just like the rest of us :P Just be patient man, Jack will get to you soon.

Name: DrHellNo Steam USERname: R.J. MacReady http://steamcommunity.com/id/thevielence/ Experience with DayZ: Been playing for about 3-4 weeks, usually run with a small group of friends (3-5) but they seem to be playing different things these days. I usually prefer to be the point man, but I can easily adjust to any role in a group setting. Are you willing to work in a team: Absolutely, Lone Wolf gets pretty boring =( Are you comfortable with the controls: Oh Yeah, found the inventory to be clunky at first but I've gotten pretty speedy with it. Do you have a mic: Yep Are you willing to use said mic on Skype/Vent/Teamspeak: Of Course What other clans have you been in: Haven't been in any ARMA 2 clans. EDIT: I have been in realism units in other games (battlefield, planetside and R6, to name a few) and really enjoy that type of environment. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy just messing around and having a good time. (After all it is a game!) Also, sent you a FR on Steam, Jack. Thanks for looking!
