That's kinda my point. Why not have multiple weapons that all utilise the same ammo? For example; I want to use an F88 Austeyr. But KnT, that is pretty much an M16 ACOG (5.56x45 NATO assault rifle with a low powered scope). Why can't you use that? Because I like choice and customisation

Fog - already in game Rain/thunder/lightning - already in game AI events - needed but not what you're saying. Things like ambulance/helicopter crashes and ammo/medbox drops every 5-6 hours would be awesome Friends list - steam?

That would kinda work with the whole zombie apocalypse thing. You're always going to run out of ammo more than you run out of weapons to use them. This would force players to roam around more to find more ammo/different weapons Also a LOT of weapons use the same ammo nowdays too so there wouldnt really be more ammo types, just more conversion abilities. Just going from the OPs list; G36E/C, SCAR-L, M416, AUG, TAR-21, SIG 551 use 5.56x45 (same as STANAG) EDIT: ACR can be in here too SCAR-H uses 7.62x51 (same as as DMR) Sturmgewehr 44 uses 7.92x33 (not currently in game) G3A3 uses .308 winchester (same as the CZ550) QBZ-95 uses 5.8x42 (not in game but there is the QBZ-97 which uses 5.56x45 ammo) ACR uses some 5.56mm flechette dart thing apparently (not currently in game) EDIT - And can apparently be chambered for 5.56x45 so same as STANAG P226, M93R, glock 19, FAMAE, MP5K uses 9x19 (same as many pistols/SMGs in game) UMP 45, Kriss Super V uses .45ACP (same as M1911 and revolver) PPsh-41 uses 7.62x25 (not in game) So from his entire list, we've only added 3(4 if you go the QBZ-95 over the QBZ-97) ammo types - 2 of which are old (PPsh and the Sturm) and one that is because it's from an unusual weapon (ACR)

Do you have an SSD? Are you using 32bit or 64bit Windows? Are you even using Windows? I have a similar computer in build to you and I get far more FPS than you are claiming to get

Perhaps you should learn to evade an aggro'd zombie (or hey, don't aggro them at all) and then rethink this post -
To the naysayers and the "it's real life bro" crowd - Let's come up with a realistic number; It takes an average healthy human 4-6 weeks (average 5) to fully recouperate the 450mL (9% of the blood in your average human) they take in a blood donation To put this in DayZ terms, it would take 840 hours to recouperate 1080 blood (9% of 12000) This equates to 1.3 (1.285714285714... to be exact) blood per hour IF your character stays healthy (ie not hungry, not thirsty, not cold, not hot, no broken bones, no shock, no bleeding etc) I fully support the implementation of this amount of blood regeneration.

ARMA2 came well before DayZ was thought about so I don't think they'd bother letting him drastically change the engine. Since DayZ boosted the sales of ARMA2 by about 172938127387% (numbers may be slightly off) I would hazard a guess that Bohemia is ensuring that the ARMA3 engine can do everything that DayZ needs it to do. I have no evidence or sources, but it just makes business sense to avoid reworking an engine that is currently being developed

Yes, you probably should have because ALL of these have been suggested before lol Anyways, item degradation is kinda stupid - especially for weapons. A firearm won't magically stop working because you forgot to clean it after firing x amount of bullets. I've broken ONE IRL and it was an 85 year old semi-auto shotgun that was never looked after well that had the thread that separated the magazine from the breach shear itself off. This thing literally had thousands of shots fired through it with very minimal upkeep and it kept going like a champion -

Since this is a mod of ARMA, this would be impossible to implement now AFAIK Once it goes standalone, then sure Achieve's for staying alive for 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 days or something?

Yes to this on one condition; People with a high play time and low amount of murders have an angelic glow about them; perhaps the clouds part above them and God himself shoots a ray of light (visible to everyone of course) out of his arse to bathe the guy in all His holy glory for being such a stand up member of post-apocalyptic Chernarus. -
The nailgun and harpoon gun are stupid weapons, the rest I have no issues with What I want to see is everything (maybe not the anti-tank rifles lol) from world.guns.ru in the game. Would be sweet ^_^

I like it, but would see it go one step further. Large towns/cities (Cherno, Elekto, Zeleno, Stary, Solni, Berezino and Krasno) have a higher chance of there being a fucktonne of zombies, a low chance of being the amount there is now and zero chance of being empty Smaller towns (everywhere else) have a low chance of having many zombies, a moderate chance of moderate zombies and a high(er) chance of having 1-5. -
