Here's what I did. I went on Six Updater, then I went to mods, clicked DayZ, and said add to all presets. Then I clicked the new preset called DayZ, and clicked the run game button.

RESOLVED, I JUST LAUNCHED SU WITH DAYZ ONLY PRESET Hi everyone, I've been trying to get DayZ to work for about 2 months now. I just bought the Steam version, because DayZ hates retail as far as I have noticed. Now, I try six launcher, it launches the game and says "ERROR CREATING DIRECT3D GRAPHICAL ENGINE". I'm stumped on this one. Also, I can't use S.U. because it S.U.cks and is trying to download ACEX (Which I don't want at all) at 32kb/s (~750 expansion thing) and my internet it 4mb/s. So that's out of the question. Anyone have any ideas? *Which version of the game did you purchase? STEAM or RETAIL or MIXED: Steam, Pure. *Are you running an Arma 2 OA beta patch? If so what version?: 9700, or whatever it is. *Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: Six Launcher, correct path, w/ Force beta patch, Update beta patch, and launch thru. steam. *Your PC specs: i3 2120 8GB DDR3 1600 MHZ Ram 2Gb ATI Radeon HD 6950 GDDR5 Gfx Card 1tb HDD *Your Operating System: Win. 7 Home Premium 64bit

I finally got DayZ working after the whole weekend Dx. But now... about 30s after I connect to a server/spawn in, I get disconnected from error: "Invalid BattlEye GUID" I updated the DLLs (Server + Client) in all the ArmA 2 Directories. Anyone else got this problem, or can help? EDIT And now it's stuck on "Retrying to authenticate" screen. D:

Hi, I've been having mad problems with DayZ, and I've been trying to get it to work for the past week. Lately I've been able to spawn in, but shortly get d/ced' from the Invalid GUID error. It's strange, because yesterday it was working fine, (Apart from the GUID error) and now all of a sudden I'm getting invalid CD key. I have the retail version. Anyone know what's up? :huh:

I'm having this problem too. I updated battleye. It doesn't occur until about 30s after I spawn.
