I got it to work! I had to use F:\@DayZ\Addons when before it was just F:\@DayZ That fixed it apparently. Thanks for all the help! :)

It didn't work but I found something that fixed it. You know how people recommend using RAMDisk for the DayZ location? I overwrote the directory to that partition for dayz and downloaded the files there and what not. Now. Instead I unchecked it and let it use the default location in the steam folder and I could join fine. Why isn't it using the RAMDisk partition properly?

Arma 2 said 1 file was missing and will be redownloaded but I didn't see it do anything but perhaps it was that quick. Arma 2 OA said the same thing with 1 file needing to be redownloaded. Going to launch both games from steam then try to launch from commander again.

Oh...Uh...No? I don't think I did haha. Unless you mean running Arma 2 then OA from steam before using DayZ Commander then yeah I did that. Edit: Do you mean verify the game integrity with steam? If so i'm doing that now.

That fixed the error but it's still kicking me a second after I hit the lobby. Only text showing up now is battleye text, then "You have been kicked from the game"

http://oi49.tinypic.com/2zrmdes.jpg So I recently just built a new PC. Before doing so I backed up all my steam games than wiped my harddrive. After re-installing windows etc etc and steam. I transfered everything back and ran arma 2 and arma 2 OA. I then installed DayZCommander which I used all the time on my previous PC. Downloaded patch 1.7.6 because the servers I enjoy run that patch still and installed the latest beta the commander had to offer. My problem lies when I join any server. As it brings me to the lobby I get that SSL text before getting kicked "You have been kicked" back to the main menu. It took me forever to get that picture as it happens very quickly. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? I've transfered my games from computer to computer before without a problem so i'm lost here. I was curious about a feature that could be added (if even possible?). I have times when my ping will spike, be it from someone else on my internet or just my ISP being an ass. Anyways, just now (and numberous times before) I was flying around in a heli and sadly got kicked for high ping, and of course when I got back on my heli was crashed. Is there -ANYWAY- that if you get kicked from a server or just somehow disconnect that all vehicles (heli and otherwise) can safely just assume a safe position instead of crashing and blowing up? Is that possible?

The hell is with all the food..? Why not focus on the core project instead of adding useless features like that?

By chance would anyone know if the latest update may or may not affect latency in-game? I've noticed since 1.7.2.6 I tend to get lag spikes from my usual 30-70ms to anywhere from 300-1000ms. I've tested this on numerous occasions throughout a few days and it seems to be mainly when i'm connecting to a server and/or running around in a server, not so much if i'm just staying in one general spot. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all but i'm definitely getting a lot more 'You have been kicked for high ping' since the update :<
