Hey guys, I recently bought Arma II combined ops and installed DayZ but, everytime I join a server, all I end I with is a character of a bird. I googled it and all I can find is that it is to do with pirated copies. Please help

Public Server. Select the server from the DayZ Commander multiplayer and click launch. I have also tried accessing servers from in the game; to no avail
