    Ak-12 is in the Trash. It wasn't adopted. It wasn't used by the CDF anyway. I don't believe it comes in 7.62x39, either. Chernarus isn't in the Czech Republic. The map is based on satellite images from that area. Chernarus is (In arma, ofc) actually in Turkey on the Russian border, and is about three-four times bigger, the map area being the South Zorgia province.

    Also i really don't get why they won't sacrifice a few ammo types for must-haves. If we can't get 9x18 becuase they add .22... what do people want more? My fear is they are trying to pacifie the Makarov crowd with the P1, becuase it would perform similar. Well that won't work on me atleast.

    Sad part is they will no doubt add countless guns that are much less common than 9x18 weapons. Really though, there are plenty of 9mm Makarov weapons they could add - CZ83, P64, APS, PMM... fuck .357

    Who wants to see more Shotguns than any other weapons

    KS-23 Russian 6-Gauge (23mm, may be 4g, don't rem) Pump action shotgun made from Cut-down Soviet ZU-23 anti-aircraft barrels. Holds three shells and can fire Several ammunition types, including Slug, buckshot (Which apparently suck) and Rubber. It is used mainly by Prison guards, riot control, police, and a special shortened version is available, which can break your wrist if fired one-handed. Would be a great, long range (For a shotgun) weqpon capable of dropping players with one slug, or knocking them out/breaking bones with rubber.

    If the guy stays invisible becuase the game's current dysenc and lag, then yes, it shouldn't be added. I'm just saying, this shouldn't be added if it has alot of delay, which it would if they just slapped it in ASAP. Trust me, i'm all for adding new content before its 100%, with the exception of things that will break the game, which in CQC, it would.

    Here we go again. If this is implemented right then it's the "Perfect fix," but it would have to be 100% before its added into the game. But this argument - alot "hardcore" hardcore community as a whole makes themselves look like dicks when they want the game to be 1pp only, not carring that 95% of other players don't want this. On the other side, there are many (Not all) who use 3pp and don't want to admit it. I do, (Whenever i play reg anymore) just like i use the gamma exploit, becuase if the other guy can chances are he will/is. There are various other reasons they have, but the few who want to be able to see players over shit - Why? Why is it fun to watch some guy with the eye you ripped out of your head and floated around the corner, and then blow his brains out? Have some balls and fight him. But the best fix i can see is like Minecraft's. Basically, the camera physically won't let you look around/over objects, but still see your character and such. Also - no 3pp in prone. Absolutely no reason for that but exploits. 1pp camera is also way to broken rn. My eye's should be in my head. When i can see where my neck should be - something is wrong.

    It played in 2009. Look at the car wrecks. Ladas, GAZ & GAZ militia, UAZ, S1203, Skoda "Sedan", Ural, UAZ, HMMV... Mod vehicles. My assumption is that's what we'll get along with a few new ones.

    Exept for 7.62x38, yeah. I've seen seven .303 every. They were laying on some table in a plastic bag with tons of AK and Stanag Mags around it, corroded, $15. And i never see any new either. I actually have seen Turkish 7.92 on a few occasions a few years back, but mostly i just see new stuff. I'm having trouble finding 9mm Makarov and 7.62x25, mainly becuase very few stores carry it. Those that do (All of which are far from me) seem to have large stocks.

    I never meant any of those are prototypes. They are not extensively used at all and would NOT be in Chernarus, exept for maybe a few Dozen deagles. The ACR and FN57 are to expensive to be used widely Atm. Same for the ACR. While i MAY agree to it being at Helicopter crashes (If those are added) it really shouldn't. We don't need BF/CoD level weapons just because they are good guns. The Majority wants less military weapons, to, and anyone who wants weapons to be At all realistic doesn't want QBZ's, as if chernarus wanted to use theses, or even Five-Sevens they would go bankrupt. They were still using Makarovs... something tells me they aren't going to sink money into these guns. As for penetrating calibers, they probably use Tokarevs. There are plenty of alternatives for extra calibers - .32 ACP, 7.62x38, 7.63x25, .303, 7.92x57 - All of which you will find 1000 of before a Lapua. (Which btw almost all the civilians in Chernarus would have to sell their shitty cabin to buy, and doesn't make much/any sense for military as again, $) Honestly, to, if half the guns you want added were in, then the only people playing would be about 100thou PvPs and Kids - No offence - thats what you want, even if i disagree i'm not going to start bashing you for it.

    Lol. Good luck with 5.7. I would like to see more calibers but there aren't many that can be implemented without adding prototype, shit, or extremely rare guns like Five-Sevens, DEs, SCAR-Hs, and ACRs.

    O.G. DayZ theme music option

    Music in the mod made it creepy as fuck, especially when you first start. I still remember my first day. Crawing around on the coast in some port, pitch dark, to dark to get off it but to scared to drop my Makarov for a flashlight. I could see a heli flying off the coast with it's light on and a boat moving in the water. The music scaring the shit out of me. Secound day i discovered balota airfield. Through the rain, I could see the Bodies and though they were actaul players who had been killed by Zeds. Then i discovered the Military camp. Just as i ran up, the music pitched and a Zed popped out, and i died after trying to kill it with Chest shots. The dreary music addong to the experience. Then all the weeks after. Looting cherno with crossbows, crawling through the streets, running from a hatchet-wielding maniac, my first AK, my first tent... Now its just to bleak. Spawn. Run. Grab m4. Shoot. Die. The mod had a better Apocalyptic atmosphere to say the least, right down to the bleak Lighting. The SA lacks that.

    9mm Makarov and 7.62x25 I think 15-20 ammo types is a good limit. The challenge is getting good weapons that fire them.

    Recently in the roadmap he said players would be able to "Lay foundations" and building on them. Sounds like origins to me.

    Bording up confirmed. They are working on a way to fix ghosting into the base. I will be living in a Cherno apartment, with several outposts in every area of the map.

    And they don't work well in it and are probably more expensive than it's intended round when it can be found. I've never seen that caliber for sale though, so i can't say for sure. 7.62x38 would probably be more common in Chernarus anyway.
  23. Mm... not sure what you mean by only military guns being one-shot zombie kills... there shouldn't be a damage difference between an SKS and an AKM. If thats not what you mean just ignore this.

  25. Apparently you never watched the Dev blogs before the alpha was released. It was said multiple times that they would run, run inxoors, ect. These ARE infected humans. They are NOT dead. If you wanted retarded Lvl-1 Cod type zeds, you should have waited to see what it would be like before you bought the game. This isn't TWD. Z stands for Zero.
