Several russian weapons that Id like to see in Dayz

No. Its not. Like i said, research lore. The game is trying to be semi-realistic here... we already have two guns that make no sense. Lets not add more. And there has to be a reason it never reached production. What, you want it to be a magically awsome gun?

    KSK/Saiga 12

We also need Saiga rifles. Basically they are Based off the RPK, but don't have the long barrel, can only hold 10-round magazines, and have black hunting furniture. They can be chambered for many calibers but mostly they're 7.62x39.

Several russian weapons that Id like to see in Dayz

The first two are a given, but the next 3 are only used by the Russian military (Research the lore. This area hasn't been part of Russia since 1991) and the last one is Fucking awsome but since only like 10 exist, no.

I can't see how 3rd person is helping this game..

There was something about Arma 3 2017's 3PP Fix. Basically, how it worked wasn't disabling 3PP. So, you can still use 3PP, BUT , you can ONLY see players IF your head is AROUND the corner. You can still look over walls, but any players/zombies are invisible untill your eyes can actually see them. It was pretty neat in the video, but i can't seem to find it. Dev blog #1, i believe. That seems like the best fix to me. 1PP Is fucked because your eyes are atleast 6in outside your face, and you have no FOV. I constantly find myself running into walls, and short fences i don't see. If they do add this, they need an animation for peeking over/around a fence, window, door, or rooftop.

List of Ideal Weapons for the SA

This. Exept the APS, which is still in production and limited use with military, but especially law-enforcement. You also left out the A-91 and PP-19.

    KSK/Saiga 12

KS-23 is classified as a Carbine becuase it uses Rifled 23mm Anti-Aircraft gun barrels. But in reality, it functions like a shotgun and fires shotgun-like ammo, including Buckshot, slugs, rubber, beanbags... it was made for Prison Guards initially. *4 Gauge. Millimeters arn'te gauges. Just an FYI to everyone, Gauges get smaller as the object gets bigger, so compare 12guage. The KS-23 fires a round bigger than most Infantry fighting vehicle's 20MM Cannon. Ik, beast right?

The only way base building will workout

Boarding up houses FTW. Only, boarding up high-value buildings shouldn't be allowed.

    KSK/Saiga 12

Thats not true... Russian police use a variety of shotguns including KS-23s, TOZ-194s and Molots, all pump action, from what i've heard.

    Sig Sauer P226

Voted yes. Seems reasonable due to its popularity with law enforcement. However, i'de much rather see a .40 CZ-75 than this. But if thats not in, then this will do.

The gun problem (and the solution)

Main problem RN is M4 Magazines are to common and always spawn full. Empty magazines, and ammo spawning more like Mosin ammo should be implemented soon, possibly after the AK-74M. Mosin ammo itself is fine, but scopes should be rarer, forcing people to use the rifle as, well, a rifle, instead of a Sniper rifle. Mosins are also to common. Shotgun shells should be virtaully everywhere, and shotguns should be more common. .357 ammo is to common and gun is OP FNX Ammo and especially magazines are to rare and gun is Under-P.

    G 36 Please

1: The G36 was FAR from a classic. The AKM, Lee Enfield, Winchester and DMR were far more well known. Ontop kf that, i never saw anyone using them becuase the scope sucks. 2: you're far more likely to find an RPG-7 in Chernarus than a G36, Glock 18, ect. 3: Most baddass? I think not. 4: CIVILIANS IN RUSSIA BUYING MODERN GERMAN ASSAULT RIFLES? Even in semi-automatic, thats a No-No there. 5: It seems the new defence for such guns are "WAA WA POPLE ONLY WAN 5 GUNZ INGAME, WEZ NEDZ VARIETE" You want variety, this is what would fit. (Mil rifles only) AKM AK-74 AKS-74u G3 VZ.58p/v SKS-M M16A2 AK-107/5 SVD Zastava M77 While guns like the MP7, P90, G36, AK-12, AN-94, And ect make no sense. Its pretty obvious Bohemia didn't make that. Therefore, someone just said a dirt-poor post-civil war country uses XM8s the US Can't afford. The oy G36 and Chernarus during the campaign was carried by the Insurgent's boss if i remember, and it was a G-36C.

Few new items (ZSh3 Pilot Helmet incl)

Fired a Magnum, then a Sawed-Off at the NWAF military camp. We then had (counted) 21 zombies on us. There are quite a few zeds, aslong as the area hasn't been looted.

    Ak 47/74's in game.

the AK-74M is virtually confired. modles for it exist in-game, alongside the Ruger 10/22

    Ak 47/74's in game.

Not the AK-12.... it wasn't adopted for service and makes no sense. And why the AK-103? Theres very few improvements over the AKM that a few polymer stocks and flash hiders can't fix. An AKS-74u would be a better option.

    TNT

Frag grenades are better for killing IEDs are better for blowing your legs off Molotovs are better for destroying your precious TTKsO and ballistic helmet And ontop of that, TNT is quite rare nowa'days, as its main use was mining, and more effective explosives have been invented. TNT isn't near as powerful as most people think.

    Ak 47/74's in game.

Very few people are suggesting it be removed. Only a few nuts want to "Bar content" unless its an extremely stupid idea, which Many, Many, many are.

    Ak 47/74's in game.

No, they use the VZ.58, which is often though to be a Kalashnikov, but is in reality a original design. And this game does not take place in CZ. USMC was only on Utes, if i'm remembering right. 70+ Million Kalashnikovs vs around 8-12 million Armalites, and only around 4 million of those are M4s. But an AK-74M is set in stone for release. I bet a 7.62x39 version is also planned.

    DreadZ DayZ ~ TeamSpeak ~ 85 Vehicles ~ Website

just had a hacker on a while ago. first, they killed a player and stole his helicopter, then they killed my trading buddy with said chopper. I then killed one because his arm was sticking through the castle floor. he had ONLY this gear: 21 DMR mags (all in main inventory) DMR coyote patrol pack NVG GPS no food, bandages, pistol, ect. the heli then crashed and I was shot in the top of the head by an M14/DMR while on the TALLEST tower in devils castle, from point blank. the hacker then TPed to everyone on the server and killed them. his M14 was hacked to fire around 3000rpm, unlimited ammo. my best guess is it was the player "Happy," but I can't be sure. but other than that, I've had an awesome time on this server. Ran over some tripwires, found an SUV in its legit spawn... great fun. sorry if this is the wrong place for this, couldn't find your website.

    Nagant M1895 - Poll

Its on Russia's eastern (i think) border. It was also part of the USSR Untill 1991. Bohemia made a map of it, i'll post it later. And actaully, the majority of Soviet pistols in service untill around 1944 were Nagants, which remained in manufacture untill the end of the war and in service untill the mid 1950s. And i you read the entire thread, they are still used by some Police and Security guards.
