Nite (DayZ)

Me and my clan found one in the field opposite the high value barn, south of the NW airfield, everything was red, but the hull. We later got shot by a sniper after coming back to it with parts :(

So I was just on LU15 overlooking the NE airfield when suddenly I get ported to some fortified camp with stone walls all around it , there were around 7 guys (that I could see) within the compound. When I was spawned there I got some message up saying welcome to so and so trading company. I alt+f4'd right away. Anyone else come across this?

Yep picked one up in the office at The Lumber Mill in Berezinho. Can confirm also that I put the ghillie on without dropping my bag and my alice pack disappeared and was replaced with a coyote pack.

Ansolutely loved this video! It's stuff like this that makes DayZ so unique to other games :P

Haven't seen one myself.....

Just yesterday lost everything to a stupid move.. Me and a friend saw a heli crash site just North of Stary Sober, instead of scouting the area we decided to leg it across, both got taken out by sniper's camping in the trees. Lost NVG's, Coyote Backpack, Bison SD, DMR, GPS. Oh well back to Cherno or Elektro to cause some riots :D

Me and my friends also getting the same error. New server side patch being made available before the client side?

Every time I close my eyes all I can see are green fields and barns/farm houses. Think I need to stop playing this game :s

The one I have has nightvision, is this an old M107?

Think this bug still exisits, can anyone else confirm? Found the M107 last night and it replaced my standard cayote backpack I was carrying....

I am currently launching from Steam so have -mod=@dayz added in to the launch options. Would I add the above command after that one?

Hey guys, So after watching numerous videos of this mod on youtube, I finally decided to take the plunge and buy arma 2 / download dayz. I downloaded the 1.7 patch and after some tinkering finally got it running, the problem I have is when joining servers. I either get stuck on the retrieving data screen or I get the black loading screen. Any ideas ? I've been trying to join a server for the last hour with no luck :|
