Yeah, because a corpse can break a bone easy right? That's realistic, huh. Rotting corpse is strong enough to break bones one shot and only morphine can fix a broken bone right? Thanks for the response Riner, you're what this community doesn't need. -

Anyone else spawn inland? I spawned just outside of Novy Sobor. Did they change spawn locations? I did not see it in the patch notes and I have seen no threads about it..

I hope this thread is still read by Rocket. I have been thinking about this for some time. Not sure if anyone else had the same ideas. 1) Make the watch not an item. We all have it, it's not a tool or a lootable item. Same function that it currently serves, but it is not listed under tools or in any inventory. Just hit o twice to bring it up. I think most people having a watch in the zombie apocalypse sounds reasonable. Also, very few people actually utilize the watch, at least from my experiences. I know I dont get super excited when I find one. 2) Replace the slot that the watch held in the tool section with the flashlight. Currently, the flashlight takes up 4 inventory slots! That is crazy! Make it so that we can carry it as a tool and it won't interfere with having a pistol in hand. Having to swap to pistol while walking around with a flashlight is ridiculous, imo. I think we can all carry a gun and a flashlight at the same time in real life. This will marginalize the G17's uniqueness, but I think it is necessary. 3) When a main weapon is out, we can't use the flashlight. Risk vs reward here. It also makes guns like the Remmington 870 very valuable. 4) Revert prone visibility to before 1.7.1. Reason why I think it should be this way is that prone also makes you and easy target by players, coupled with the slow move speed. Prone crawling through a town takes a lot of time, it also leaves a player open to easy shots from other players, so it could now be rewarded by being very hard to detect by zombies. 5) Spawnable loot should be similar to the way it was before 1.7.1. Sub machine guns and the like should be rare finds. Also, uniforms should be rare too. Any kind of military grade weapons should make a player jump for joy when they find one. Currently, it seems like M4A1's are a dime a dozen. I could be mistaken, but that is what I have been hearing from everyone. 6) I liked the loot spawn pre 1.7.1, but just scale back the food and water finds a little bit, just not a lot. 7) Replace current bag with vest pouch or get rid of the vest pouch all together. As it stands now, nobody will ever grab a smaller bag then the current Patrol Pack. My input, for what it is worth.

Your helpful attitude and unique "QQ, you suck at aiming and moving" is not cliche at all. Next time, don't reply to the thread if you're gonna be caustic. We've all seen it before. Just point out that it's being worked on and is a known issue. Even politely referencing the search function of the forum is a better idea. Too many people on these forums with bad attitudes. I just committed suicide for a box of matches and a flashlight

Apparently, boxes of matches are in buildings along the coast, because I checked 5 towns inland, and close 40+ buildings and could not find them. I needed the matches to start a fire/cook food to keep myself alive since canned food is basically gone. I found a plethora of hatchets and wood piles though. I used all my ammo killings zombies, because I heard they drop more food now, but I did not find a single source of food on them. Last night, I had to log off because my character could not move in the world. He had been alive since before the patch, so I had no flashlight or flares and ran out of chemlights. I dropped the flares early(pre-patch, because they were not necessary). With no source of light, I couldn't see anything. Literally, nothing. There has to be a happy medium for us all. Dark, but not completely blind. Even on the darkest nights when I go backpacking (in the real world) in some very remote places it will not be that dark and I backpack a LOT! -

I was too far inland to make the trek to a coastal town so that I might find a dead survivor with a flashlight. Lol, I had everything I needed except the matches. Knife, hatchet....lots of wood. I even had a map, compass, CZ550 and 1911, but all my ammo was gone after trying the zombie food experiment. I just respawned and was instantly killed by another player as I walked into town. I kept saying over the direct voice, "Enjoy my bandage, bro." I know it's supposed to be realistic, but the whole point of a game is too enjoy oneself. I dont play COD, or BF3 or any of those games. Rocket will work things out, I have faith in that, but as it is now, I am not having fun. :( I'll keep testing though and share my experiences/insights. You're kidding right? I found like 5 of then while exploring the city' date=' along with loads of wood. [/quote'] I searched Stary Sobor, Novy Soboy, Guglovo, Gorka and Polana.... not a single box of matches. It must be a coastal thing... -

One other issue that does not seem to make sense for me. If we start with a flash light, which I think is a good idea, wouldn't it make sense to convert it into a tool instead of an item that takes up bag space? We are able to carry a toolbox, knife, an hatchet, yet none of those take up any bag space. A flashlight on the other hand takes up 4 slots! That seems a bit much to me. Just my thoughts. -

That almost makes me contemplate killing myself. I currently have no form of producing light. I ask myself this though....I was fine before the current patch, but should I have to kill my current character so that I can continue to play the game? At least at night? I don't think Rocket intended that. I also know that he is working extremely hard, so I am happy to wait for things to get better. -

Oh, I forgot to add this. I do like the new aggro, but it has made crouch walk/run almost useless now. 3 bars of vision for both. It's tough to justify crouch running/walking in any situation now, because if you do, it's just a slower version of standing up. Now i just prone my way into towns and prone my way out. Every time I use crouch, I aggro. I am not saying that it should not make me more visible to crouch, but it should have it's uses in town some of the time. hmmm... i am really torn on this, because I don't know what the appropriate level should be. Keep tweaking I suppose and we will let you know how we feel about it, lol. :) -

Some opinions I have. I am not sure if this has been addressed or not, but since zombies aggro much easier, it would be nice to know that killing all of them in an area will keep the area clear for some amount of time. Maybe 20 mins. If I am going to aggro zombies (and players), then I want to be able to know that I can kill all the fuckers and be able to walk around free and clear for a bit. As it is now, they respawn too quick, imo. I love how the map and compass has changed. Kinda makes the GPS obsolete, but I am ok with that. Was the issue regarding DCing during a fire fight get resolved? I heard that at some point, everyones character stays in a location for 10 seconds or so before he disappears after logging out. I love this idea. No more failsafe and it makes server hopping more tedious. Ghosting becomes more risky too. Players can't log off to avoid death from either other players or from zombie aggro. -

Lets be honest here, there is a reason that the stat "murders" and "bandit kills" are in the game. Not everyone is supposed to be a survivor and not everyone is supposed to be a bandit, but having the choice to decide which player you want to be is what makes this game special. Please, for the love of a can of beans, stop saying that bandits are ruining the game. Bandits are an integral part of the game, as are friendlies. If Rocket did not want them in the game, he could have turned off Friendly Fire, not had a stat for banditry, not have a little face that shows how evil or good you are, not being able to loot other players bodies... honestly. Not all of you think this way, but those that do, stop complaining about bandits. They will always be apart of the game. I guarantee you that! -
The whole point is to PLAY the game though. It's the same thing with people who buy nice sports cars and never drive them. I'm like "Wtf...why spend all the money if you don't drive it?" You got the equipment, put it to use. You may lose it to hackers, but you get no benefit at all if you don't play the game. That is some back asswards thinking, imo.
