I'm glad you found pleasure in this (it was the future in the past) endeavor, although, considering that you raided our camp and plan to attack us (looking forward to that too: it should be fun) in the future, I have to say that we probably made the right choice in letting you go. Now let's have a good clean battle this weekend and to the victor go the spoils. :lol:

We have a super sekrit base or two where we keep our supplies while off-hours, but we run trading out of DC every weekend for all comers. The tag is for Freeside members. If you just approach DC at a walk on the road with your gun down, then you'll be allowed in. Why don't you head over to our forums and post an application, if you're interested?

I'm not in-game right now (RL rearing it's ugly head), but that is a bad sign. We normally are not at all hidey. Three hours ago was too soon, though: the run should have started 30 minutes after you checked in. You should have seen people the other two times, though. We might be having issues getting on site at the moment. I'm sorry for the inconvenience to you: If you wouldn't mind, would you try logging in at 20:30 tomorrow (an hour after your first try today) and trying it one last time? I'll PM you and post here on the thread if we're not in place by then.

Hm. That's a bit odd. We sometimes lag a bit in setting up (Chernarus isn't exactly small), but we're usually there most of the time. Are you sure you're on Freeside Trading Co 2, Devil's Castle, and that you're converting from UTC properly? The base should really be staffed by at least a half dozen people during trading hours.

The sever (Freeside Trading Co 2) is online with the latest build, to my knowledge.

That hasn't happened yet to our knowledge. Honestly, we don't have the volume of trade yet to justify camping our site in hopes of picking someone off. We would also be fast to respond/retrieve the body if one of our customers died or we heard shots fired near the site.

Just about everything. We have a large stockpile of basic to high-end of medium gear, a few high end items. The more rare, the more likely that you'll have to message ahead and/or wait a bit until we can have it available for trading. Our mission is actually more so to facilitate trade than be merchants ourselves. As it turns out, having a dozen guys working together and with a place to stockpile loot does tend to result in an abundance of gear, so we do some trading ourselves, but our main goal is to provide a safe environment for 3rd parties to meet and trade between each other, secure in the knowledge that we'll make sure no one get's any bright ideas about having their cake and eating it too. No.

We have nearly 150 people on the Roster, the vast majority of whom are not registered on the new forums. If you signed up for Freeside here on the DayZ forums and have not made an account on the new forums, then please go the the new forums, make an account, and then "Start a Conversation" with me, Publik, or Vulwulf (on the new forums) notifying us of your account. Anyone from the old roster who does this will "renew" their membership and be added to the new roster and given Employee level access to the new forums.
