This has happened to me. Was caught with my pants down trying to fill my waterbottles up in the northern Factory pond. Someone killed me. Sighed, proceeded with standard respawn method - Abort; Disconnect; Ok. My character stood up in the pond with my corpse at my feet; turned around to have the bandit holding me up at pistol-point. I can only imagine it from their point of view. If they'd have moved a bit faster to loot me, I'd have spawned behind him. They shot me. Abort; Disconnect; Ok. I ended up the pond again. This time under disconnect penalty and bled out at the bottom of the pond. :) Abort; Disconnect; Ok. Wehey! Respawned properly in Kamyshovo.

Pretty pointless. There are only one or two ways to tell which avatar in the game is who on a properly set up veteran server. No technomagical spacebar scanning ocular implant in your character. A) They say something right next to you in direct coms; their name appears in white and the directional sound comes from their character. B) You shoot them; " was killed." Any other suggestions? As far as I'm aware, you don't even get to know who kills you on the Statistics screen either. So how can you put the bandit who killed you on your list, with any reliablity? Oh boy, this post reads really passive aggressively. Sorry. I'm just curious as to how anyone would go about making a "List" and then enforcing it, while on Veteran+.

When they log back in, the disconnect penalty knocks them out for three minutes. No? When they logged out, you made them bleed, so when they come back, they should still be bleeding, right? A character should easily bleed out before the punishment KO timer runs out. Unless they get a buddy to run to their expected location to save them, I guess.
