So I brought this copy of ArmA 2 a couple of months back from a second hand store, and today I decide to install it. So I go to install ArmA 2, ArmA 2:Operation Arrowhead and along with DayZ mod. When I launch it, it gives me the error: Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Anims_E', So I click OK, And the game launches to main menu. Then I get the error: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/House.scope'. So I press OK. And then I try to make a LAN server to test it. and I get yet another error: 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Land_fort_bagfence_long.camouflage'. So I press OK, then continue... And before I know it I am flying a raven over the ocean... And if I were to start another map I would just be stuck in what looks like spectating mode looking over the scenery. I have made a shortcut, pointed it to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\@DayZ\Addons. Using target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=@dayz. I have heard suggestions of DayZCommander, and ArmA 2 Beta patch. But I can not find anywhere to download these programs. Sorry for having to read my wall of text, I just didn't want to miss anything. If I have missed somthing please let me know. I hope you can help me :(. Thanks!

Also I just want to add that I don't actually have a ArmA 2 Arrow Head folder. Both games are (by default) installed to C:\Program Files(x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2oa.exe + arma2.exe. So i'm not sure if thats another thing that needs to be looked at or not.

I'm sorry, yeah my wording might be a bit messy and jumbled. But yeah I am mainly just trying to create a LAN game. So like bandwidth isn't a problem etc. I would think it shouldn't be too hard to just set up a private LAN game, considering it's not a public or dedicated server. But if this is all getting too impossible, I wouldn't stress over it. But if you do have any thing else you wan't to add, please feel free. Thanks :)

So I just wan't to clarify, I don't have permission to create a game? Like I guess if I wanted to play with a freind over the LAN, I am unable to do that?

Thanks, and yes my directories match the ones you have posted. Somthing I do notice though is when I launch DayZ using the "LAUNCH DAYZ NOW" button in the settings of DayZCommander, I do not encounter any error messeges what so ever. However I am still unable to interactive with DayZ in-game. As I said before I beleive it's somthing else. When I go to select a map when starting a server, I am unable to actually select any DayZ maps or anything. So I can't select any material related to DayZ other than whats in the image I have provided below. So I don't know what i'm doing wrong, or what i'm suppose to see. Perhaps if someone can show me a picture of what that screen is suppose to looks like? Or if anyone has somthing helpfull they would like to add, please do. Thats all I have on the matter for now :(. Ok, so I uninstalled everything including all patches, maps, mods, saves, and then i installed everything in this order: ArmA 2, ArmA 2:OA (Ran them by themselves), Update 1.60, Update 1.62, Beta patch 103718, and then I installed DayZ from DayZCommander. And so I run the modified shourtcut, and I still get the same errors. I'm starting to think those errors are not the problem, because when I open my game, I can see all the textures, zombies walking around and everything just looks like it's working. Anyway when click on multiplayer, new, then I create a LAN game, and it asks me to select my Map. I get 3 options, Utes, Chernarus, and DayZ 1.8.0.3. When I click DayZ 1.8.0.3, it gives me sub-options, <<New - Editior>>, <<New - Wizard>>, but thats all I can see. Is there like maps I have to download or somthing? I'm at a loss :unsure:.

Thanks for the replys guys. I did follow what you said Fluxley, but to no avail. And yes PK Richie, I checked my ArmA 2:OA version and it says 1.59. So I will try those links you sent me and will report back if it works. Thanks :thumbsup:
