About Shelby13

    On the Coast
  1. I'd love to apply c: In my previous clan I was "Chief Maintenance Officer" so I was in charge of designing and constructing our entire base. I was also the main person to scavenge, get food/car parts/medical supplies and spend time organizing the safes in the base and repairing the vehicles for the next day. I'm very passive and in school to become a nurse, so being a Medic would also suit me. :p
  2. Name: Shelby Age: 18 Time Zone: EST Country: USA Are you willing to commit to the NCR?: Yes Preferred Job: Medic Why do you think you deserve to be in the NCR: DayZ isn't something I really know how to play by myself. In my previous clan I was the Chief Maintenance Officer as well as a Medic. So I would design our base, keep it organized with safes and tents. I was the primary one to go out scavenging for food, car parts, guns and ammo - spend time every night repairing vehicles and making sure the base was as it was meant to be. As part of being a Medic I would do supply runs daily and have helped aid our snipers in combat. I play very passively and am not comfortable with shooting, so "supporting" is my best area.
  3. I'm 18 and I've only been playing DayZ for a little less than a week now. But I've run in to some really helpful people and learned quite a bit. Had my own car and plenty of supplies before a small clan stole my car and killed me. I have a mic and teamspeak. Would love to join :)

    My experience with Bandits

I agree. I just really started playing the game last night. Got a nice car, learned how to trade at the vendors and buy things I needed. I was being shot at an airstrip and I said I was friendly and drove off - but those in side channel of course said they weren't the ones shooting and they were friendly also. This is when he kept asking me in side channel if I was still there, if I left, where I was going, what kind of stuff I had, if we could meet up so I could help him (seems like an obvious red flag to me now). Was gonna be nice and give him some other medical stuff, food, and extra weapons I had picked up as well. Told him I was at vendors and would be there in a minute. He came and stole my car while I was off trading. Then told me he found a car and would come pick me up (which looking back, I wasn't the one who needed the ride so I don't know why I got in) but while I was looking on the map for a hospital to go to so we can get more supplies since "someone" stole my car, he shot me and killed me. And then that's when I realized there was a small clan of them who took my car and were surrounding me. <_< True scum of the island.
