Yeah same problem here, was on an offroader and one of those white jeeps... cant remember the name. This isnt as bad as it usually is because normally the jeeps respawn elsewhere too however we did lose 2 full truck loads of guns and ammo which we spent ages looting... some really rare and decent guns... I really hope they fix this soon because im getting sick of just re looting every few days when something goes wrong

Im a web developer myself mate (php and ruby on rails) and im considering getting a server with a couple of my mates, we could split the costs and run the server together. I also host teamspeak 3 servers on my own VPS (I would host dayz on it if it wasnt so demanding), so yeah free teamspeak 3. Give me a shout if your still looking for someone and we can maybe get something worked out :)

We naded 3 of their vehicles and they just vanished xD. Why would you want to pay £10 for 2 skins that really only make a difference in 3rd person mode...

There is a program for doing this, all it does is create a sym link and shift it over so if you know how to do that then go ahead if not then find a program for it, cant remember the name of it but try steam mover in google... something along those lines should find you it. its what i done for arma2

Hah well yeah I suppose but the only way to avoid it would be to find another vehicle on another server and stash them there, however with the state of the game as it is the now iv been losing vehicles left right and centre due to the servers fucking up with the patches so at the moment it seems there is no point in spending any time finding nice weapons which renders at least 50% of playing this game useless

Ok i can see this from both sides because i do actually like night time especially when in my car. however sometimes it is too extreme, there is times when it is so dark that every inch of your screen is literally black and that is not good, I do think it should be slightly lighter since even when its pitch black in real life you can still see your feet, it is unrealistically dark, all that would need done is the surface area to be a little lighter as you can usually see the sky however the ground is just blackness. And yes I will get a load of kiddies whining at me telling me not to fucking play the game or whatever, but as i said i do like night time but sometimes it seems to be darker than others and those times its just a little over the top. Yeah thats what im saying, you couldnt even see the sky there its just black all over your screen and if you dare use artificial light then your going to die no matter what you try. Sometimes night time is playable but when it gets as dark as in your video its just pointless even trying unless you have a vehicle.

haha yeah blame the illuminati they are conspiring against us! Yeah I took one of the hackers choppers, I doubt they will ban everyone that took one of his vehicles and I was desperate to try get my truck of guns safe.

The reason i ran when i saw you is id rather not get in a gun fight and lose my truck load of weapons. You saw us on the hill before we set off? Well it seemed suspicious thats all, i am not saying you were the hacker it just seemed suspicious. I actually doubt it was you now thinking about it because whoever was hacking was clearly able to spawn vehicles, we pretty much died at the same time so I think from looking at the situation its obvious it wasnt either of us. I lost a lot and i mean a lot of weapons when the server went to shit. I actually eventually managed to spawn and I spawned in the middle of nowhere infront of two choppers, so i took one of the choppers and flew back to see if my truck was there but I couldnt find it. dont know for sure if i was in the right area though but it seemed to be gone as i traced my route back from the shore. I have now switched server as I have lost everything I had on UK6 which is extremely frustrating but hey what can you do. The server seemes to be plagued with hackers as i have lost a few vehicles mysteriously over the time iv been on there and they were in different spots and well hidden in the woods. I dont know how they are doing it but its irritating. So I apologies mirabeu as im sure it wasnt you, before the whole thing went crazy it seemed like you were the most suspicious as it just happend to be when we crashed you turned up and then people started dying. The reason I spotted you is I was scouting around to see if there was anyone around and i saw you running, then i died...

I have an idea to give people more incentive to buy servers and help contribute to the people making this mod and server owners. If everyone had to pay a small amount (say 50p) to gain access to that particular server for 1 month and it was implemented across all servers then if that server has a lot of traffic it would more than pay for the server and dayz could say skim 10% off the top since they dont charge for the mod id say thats a small amount to ask. This isnt a lot for 1 person to pay but if you have say 100+ people visiting a 50 slot server then its going to make it much easier on the person renting the server and then the people on dayz make a little profit every month too. This would also create loyalty to a server and people would start to get friendly more often rather than just server hopping for loot and going bandit mode everywhere. Tell me what you guys think of this im interested to see what the public think of this

This isnt really to benefit rocket directly this is to help the community, fuck its 50p and people dont even want to contribute that to help the community out, would you rather have shitty laggy server or pay 50 fucking pence to get a range of decent high quality servers and get a more stable gaming experience? Im guessing that the people complaining about this are poor ass kiddies that sit in their parents basement all day doing fuck all but moaning about shit thats a point actually, look at xbox live and world of warcraft they charge like £8 per month for their subscriptions... and why do they do that? to support their fucking servers. If you think 50p is too much to ask then what about the people paying £60+ for servers? should we not be helping support these people or are you too selfish to give a fuck about anyone else outside your poor worthless existance

nah food is still a rare occurrence however I do think that its maybe supposed to be because they have upped the spawn of animals. Whats a pain in the ass though is that the hatchet now takes up soooooo much space, if they could turn the hatchet back to the way it used to be and then just have the crowbar for melee then that would be much better.

I dont know if this was supposed to be implemented with the new patch but jerry cans are now dissapearing when they are used... this is very very frustrating as i cant go on long road trips without spending an hour finding jerry cans, in which case i would have been better walking!

Ah sorry i thought it was maybe implemented in the patch however i was just being a tard because i put them on my other vehicle without realising >.

Dont get me wrong, i love night time however is it just me or does it just seem to get darker and darker, its way to much at the moment, when it gets to the stage that all you can see is black on your screen its not worth playing, and for people who only have time to play at night this is a major issue. if you could give us at least the minimal visibility then that would make the game playable at night. Thanks

to the people saying use flairs, thats about the worst thing you can do especially in the latest patch since zombies aggro from miles away even without flares. Plus its just a beakon for bandits, i dont fancy being lit up like a fucking christmas tree for bandits from miles away to come and snipe my face off

Basically what the title says, can you save more than one vehicle at a time? This is something thats been on my mind since i started finding vehicles.

Anyone think this is a valid idea or am i just crazy?

Please can someone make a fucking criticism without hundreds of screaming kids going "ITS AN ALPHA" yes its an alpha but if we dont make criticisms then it renders releasing alpha to the public fucking pointless

I hate it when people look at a criticism and just start shouting "ITS AN ALPHA TEST", all i have to say to you people is stop being fucking morons, if we didnt criticise then that defeats the point of an alpha, if they didnt want criticism then they wouldnt have released it to the public till it was finnished... on a side note i completely agree, they should have two seperate downloads for stable and testing builds and that way people can choose what they want to play instead of grinding for the best guns and vehicles for a new patch to come out a couple of days later and mess shit up. ... and yes there will be some whining kid that will reply to this saying "what do you expect when you play an alpha", well fuck you very much because people dont play this like an alpha and some of the patches were relativley stable untill they started adding new content that made it more buggy instead of fixing the existing bugs. This is why they need a stable version in which they fix bugs on and a testing version in which they add the latest features on to see how they work, then when they are stable it can be added to the stable version and so on.
