Most people with a mic who talks back will give you a better chance of getting out of most problems I find, people with no mic are not to be trusted. But I'm greatest one would be just picking up people off the coast when a have a set of wheels and finding out what they know and ended up have a fun few hours of driving around fixing a heli or a better set of wheels. But a mic is a must.

What about the gas tank in the side of the house that will make a nice explosion even better would be a fuel station underground tanks will blow a few blocks away no kill switch to block the fire going down from the tanks with no power so boom. I really like the idea

So would this also work to get pass zombies as well not been notice from them? I love the idea I really do think that one would be a hard one to code for dayz.

You only can't trust anyone now because the zombies are not worth killing anymore as people work out the tricks to get around them to easily, hopefully trust will be more likely with other survives because getting loot will be harder with more zombies and trading items will be good because things will be so rare. Nothing wrong with going to these high risk places if you work your way around the right way, keep your head low look for trouble and avoid it and be quick dont waste time and kill zombies with a axe to not make to much noise.

I like the human shield it my help you when you encounter a group of people to hold one of their friends at gun point and ask them to drop their guns and take off with the person and drop them off up the road to get away safely, but most people don't care about their lives in dayz what is sad because their friends will just kill both of you and just get their gear, but overall I really like it just adds to the drama and what people can do to you instead of kos now they can get what they want without killing someone and have just as much fun maybe more because on the risk you are taking.

Us their any Australian servers? I'm over finding cars/top loot in 10mins. I have trouble finding any good servers

They have a long way to go yet, they only have 1/4 of the zombies, loot items and players on a server still. Things could go wrong when the extra load on the server is put to the test. But great work Dean and the dev team really good progress and were really gratefully to revive progress about the per alpha testing.

Hello12 if you live near the uk their are a couple or RP servers what have female skins, it's a bit sad that the game doesn't have more/better female skins, origins skins are a bit sexiest in the way they are poorly represented like most things these days game markers need to realise that their is a huge growing number of female gamers these days and I'm a male and i wouldn't play in a female skin it loses the realism aspect to the game. Good luck in your search for a server what has the skins you would like.

It is all bullshit I'm playing on a laptop the best I can get is 40fps looking at the sky most mods of dayz will be around 14fps and about 20-24fps on dayz vanilla at best most of the time it's about 8-10fps. I'm running dayz on a laptop with Intel i5 what I can clock it to 2.93 ghz Amd radeon hd 6550m 4gb DDR3 But I also am playing with out connecting my laptop to the router and I live in a small country town with no adsl+2 what is just balls

I just hope people leave their opinions to help mould the SA to a great game and don't bag the shit out of it till its a full release, remember its an early alpha with a tonne of fun and new bugs

Yeah it's an laptop but over all it handles ok just the distance of sight is very poor it can't handle that task with the textures of the land at a distance greater then a few hundred meters, I'm more of a ps3 person and don't play pc games but with a game like this it was just to good to not have a go on, and I really enjoy arma as a game as well.

I agree but so many people will cry, no looking over a wall to follow someone to kill, or cry over the field of view lot of players can't play fair their will be players who will most likely find away to have 3rd person even if its lock.

I have said this in a few post here and their about having the secent of blood on a player after you bandage or do a blood bag, that you should have blood on your clothes and need to disinfect it so wash the smell of blood of so a zombie cant smell the blood, it isn't human anymore all our morle and thinking is gone they go back to what they only have bs that's DNA it's basic survival with finding food been everything to a zombie, wind should play a factor to having to go down wind will get you closer to an zombies/ towns without been smelt. Sight should be strong if they have eyes what work and they will chase down any moving think human or anaimal tht will be sweet you shot an cow to eat and boom 5 angry hungry zombies can smell the blood and when you gut it boom blood on you and no time to clean it off so have 2 eat the cow and the other 3 chase you down. This is a must for a survival.

I agree 100% that's why dean is been so careful and is hoping he doesn't have a huge number of players to begin with for this reason. Their will always be haters has they don't understand what an alpha really is of it had no bugs and doesn't crash it's a full release,

The trusty Winchester, not to hard to find in barns or schools some times ammo not to hard to come across, not to Loud when shoting zombies and a good gun to start with. Wow I'm lucky I didn't start playing dayz t when the as50 was around that gun must of been beast. Was it just over powered?

I think the trail to work out what the hell happen to course this out break and what happen to the area, like was it a nuclear out break in the water or was it a vaccine what went wrong like I am legend (I'm not saying just like the movie the idea that it was an cancer vaccine so you don't ever have to worry about think about it everyone will get one right.) just build a puzzle of what happened but their isnt an accrual Easter egg. It's just dayz and this is your story. A journal what you can free write in would be sweet you can read someone's story of what they did and went through ( but people will make up fish tales) that's an Easter egg in its self just reading that will how many zombies they killed how many beans they ate plays they helped or got help by. Ill love to meet someone write a tale in their book and just make this unique item to find if they drop it or get killed. You can read what their story of dayz was. Perfect Easter egg it will always be different

For me it will be the mk16 with the toggle sight, useful for close quarter and distance shooting, I know it's not the strongest ammo but easy to find and holds 30 rounds a clip so for me very handy and sounds good I like it.

It would be I play on my laptop and its nothing special and I can hardly see 400mtr at balota for example I can only see half way down the runway so firefights are hard in the woods without a good graphics card and CPU to have the textures clear enough to spot movement in the woods, but standalone is going to be better with less powerful computers as it isn't a mod of a whole other game and it will be worked better as it is better built for the game when it comes out.

Can you lock direct chat on so you can always been heard just like having a mic on when your on the ps3 or Xbox 360, so when you get a radio that's when you can talk to people in the distance but still in a car it can't be heard out side of the car. But the distance of the radio should have a limit maybe 5km but in deep forest maybe 2.5 to 3km I think that will slow people down because you have your mic plugged in it should picked it up, but people will just turn down their mic volume in game because people can't play fair sad but true

I think it should run out well at least extend the time between restarts to re spawn loot and ammo I hope is really rare and your really lucky to find a full clip with a gun, and fuel should run out as well, no workers making the food no farmers so oil tankers bring in supplies it won't last forever will at least re spawn items every month or week at least

It's going to be released on steam to make updates nice and smooth ad easy for them to send them out their is just going to be a full alpha release it's not cod or battlefield and its not Microsoft who gets dlc packs first, I don't think their will be a release date it will just be click and its up on steam for sale then people will find out within the hour and bang severs will be full
