The artistic work they've done gives Chernarus+ a completely different feeling. It doesn't feel like a military simulator anymore. The game looks way more immersive than the mod and I'd buy just for that.

12 people have the game launched but only 1 person on the test server? Doesn't make sense.

DayZ Standalone has bean coming out in a week for about a year now. (see wut I did there?) Edit: The testing server appears to be down, btw. Last update was 4 hours ago...

The truth about game developpment and hype, is that the more you wait, the more you loose hype. But the more you wait, the more you raise expectations. You've gotta find the sweet spot where the hype is down but the expectations aren't too high. From my opinion, if we aren't in that momentum right now, we're gonna be in it soon.

Battleye is a pretty aggressive anti-cheat, but VAC has never stopped anyone. Rocket said they were switching to VAC :(
