you seem to avoid that i have right to decide about my addons, it is major thing, my addons are mine, non less non more

problem is that Dayz moders (different mods which are dozens, or even 20 ? i do not know how many there are Dayzs) didnt even bother to contact Arma addon makers and like with this Taviana Martin develops map since 2006 and in 2012 someone says "why cant i release my own version, i do not know who is author" eh... "i do not know who is author" is excuse , just like what one dayz moder told me few months ago "every addon on armaholic is opensource" and can be edited afaik dayz origins functions like other dayz mods - has credits to Dan Hall, but only Dan Hall can say about use or not use his files Origins causes hate cause Origins has it s own model makers and such like (not just using addons made for Arma) ?

ooo noone knows who made Taviana while on BIS forum there is 100 pages long topic about Taviana since 2010 and first building were made in 2006 by Martin and shown on OFP forum , super http://s8.postimg.org/qq2z8vz7p/image.jpg look this is from Operation Flashpoint from 2006

please than read what other person said about releasing other version of Taviana , do you think it would be okay that guy nicked Hicks releases his Taviana ?

do models and do textures and do maps youself instead of demanding from creators , tools are released by BIS, do your own addons , do your own map , just takes year or more of everyday few hours work

how anyone except Martin can release Taviana to hells sake ? Taviana is island made by Martin (for 6 years since OFP buildings it is 7 years of his work), it belongs to Martin, noone other can have any rights to it Taviana belong to Martin, how ... can be person who not understand it ??? of course noone else except orginal author of addon (island in this case) can release updates how can you even think that other person than addonmaker who made island can make updates to this island ??? if other person wants to make island, noone stops him, go ahead, visitor3 and 5 years of work on buildings and island, just like my addons belong to me (vilas_ ... .pbo, vil_... pbo, p85_... .pbo) and only i can update them p85 is for example 6 years of my work and i cannot imagine that some guy can say "i want make update it" if anyone wants cars, islands, weapons, units - go ahead there are BIS tools to make models, islands etc. in OFP i made 5 or 6 islands i know that one island can take half year of work so why anyone should give rights to give it just like that to be nicked by other persons ? users with thinking like you killing addonmaking and modding

okay i will contact Six and Josh, sad that some people here (not all for good) understand that author of model and texture has right to decide whom he gives his models and whom not , i was told few months ago by one moder from dayz "everything what is released in armaholic is opensource" and when i told him "not" he was confused and arguing with me cause for him freeware = opensource, regarding charging - in google i found several mods offering payment for playing content, like dayzhell for example, they offered playing with dayz epoch for money, dayz epoch use my cars, so it means that players would pay money to dayzhell for playing my cars in dayz epoch , not right for me i am deep in arma military comunity, i didnt even know that dayz exists before half of 2013 (i cooperate and donate my models for few months, i do not play zombies, i prefer military simulation not zombies, vampires etc), while this time dozens of dayz mods already were anouncing "new 200 weapons, new 80 cars" after my addon update

you must buy license from brand when you make pay-ware intended to sale (game, not mod), when you make mod Terrorviktor you do not need, when i make VBS addons (those cars for example were earlier made for VBS , than i remove brands in VBS and they are "coupe, seat, combi" not Mercedes, VW Passat, Kia Ceed") so it looks different for GAME (as standalone) and for MOD , addon etc. (like GTA addons of cars) Addons for ARMA are freeware addons (mod) which are intended to be used for free in Arma2, problem is that lots of dayz mods are making money on free addons, they make : - big server payments, - pay-win content (to start game with M4A1 instead of Makarov pistol) - make hacks "vip mode, god mode" for money, i seen in internet guys who wanted to charge money from players for playing my addons, everything would be okay if those mods were not collecting money, if they were just free pure fun gaming like it used to be in past, when players were not paying to use addons which supose to be free or if someone donates MOD than creators of content should be donated, not the way "mister X made addon, mister Y collects money for playing it" everyone can play addons in Arma2 FOR FREE, but when i see mod makers collecting money on stuff they not made (guns, vehicles) i get angry, especially when it stops me from doing addons (cause when i release addon, soon it is put in few dayz mods who start to collect money on it) i understand donations for creators, i do not accept donations for third parties like persons using addons without even asking me before regarding Origins - in this mod content which is used is made by authors and team (models, weapons, island) not made by others who were not even asked (like i was not asked about use of my work by dozens of dayz mods which use it ) every mod can use its own content (models, textures, scripts, configs, maps) but using other people content to collect donations is somehow not good, cause orginal author not made it for others but for himself (like for example guys making weapons for mod X made weapons for mod X not for mod Z or Y) my addons were made by me and i wanted to say that i have right to decide about my own work and not others
