I personally like the path Rocket and Dayz is/has been going since the inception of the mod. I would rather play Rockets game than any ideas i have read in any forum on any game :) In Rocket we trust :p -

RP clan servers would be interesting with notes, A clan could have a member from a rival clan hostage and send a messenger with a note of the demands for hes/her release. :p -
Standalone is better than the mod imo, runs better, zombies better, no stupid building houses

Could be a treasure hunt game played on a server with them, leave clues on notes trail over chernarus with clues to the next noted clue, finally leading to a catche of gear :) -

I have tried to write or read a note, but it seems to not work for me. -
I was scouring a town today in Dayz (not saying which one cos im still there lol) and i entered the church and at the back behind the lecturn a girl was crouched AFK, Normally i dont kill unarmed players but i thought by killing her she wouldnt go AFK again and would log out instead in future, So i did her a favour :) Thats gotta be the 1st unarmed person i have ever shot at in Dayz, felt a little guilty after but maybe it was for the best. http://youtu.be/m6E7Fk5g0OA

A weight and stamina system would be good, then players with no weapons or gear will run faster than bandits with a big gun and backpack and loads of ammo and items. Would help new spawns a bit more. Curbing the guns and ammo spawns at balota would help too.

You did the right thing! There are 2 types of Dayz players. Survivors & Those collecting items to hand over to the survivors (formally known as Doormats)

At £19.99 its cheap for what it is tbh, Not many games that low price that i have played so much, I also bought other games more expensive but Dayz is keeping me from playing any of them so far. Its a steal, Dayz is worth £29.99 if not more imo :) Plus a years woth of updates and additions, gonna be a fun 2014 :) -
My reaction would be a to fall dead weighted to the ground and then proceed to die either very quickly or very slowly depending on where the bullet punctured my now almost lifeless body.

He is teaching fresh spawns a lesson, not to run around with your head in the air and a target on their back. Their survival gameplay will improve over time with these lessons.

If your looking for co-op zombie survival why not just play Dead island, Nether, Rust, 7 days to die or many of the Care Bear survival games, Dayz is an hardcore zombie survival pvp game, and always has been from the start. 99% of games are care bearish and Dayz isnt one of them, and thats why it became popular. To make Dayz an non pvp type game would destroy it like all them other games that you care bears moaned into destruction till they got boring as hell.
