I have a question about zeroing. Can't you zero by scoping down your rifle. Then while scoped in and target in sight, scroll your mouse wheel and it will display the targets distance without using a rangefinder or any calculations?

Now if only more servers would adopt the latest build :-\. The only servers that have it right now show my ping well above 200 :-(

I didn't read through the thread but I imagine something along these lines have already been said but in case they haven't... It would ultimately come down to the contractual agreement. In other words, we have no idea and can only speculate as we do not have the contract in front of us to read. I would think that if a law were broken something would have happened by now or is happening so.... they probably broke the agreement somehow.

Try staying in first person while navigating terrain in prone position and you'll quickly change your mind.

It's called peripheral vision. It's supposed to be in the game. The game is centered around realism and although in real life we don't visually see white dots floating around we do see things in our peripheral vision often without even trying. This game is trying to mimick that, or so I'm told :).

You're better off teaming up with a real life friend or joining a clan...

In case you are new to the game any posts or messages saying "friendly in ______ ?" or "Does anyone want to team up?" are most likely traps set by bandits looking for an easy kill. Stay cautiously paranoid for your own safety. I would only team up with real life friends, not anyone on the net. That's just me though

I have a quick noob question about tents. Say I put up a tent... is that tent universal? Meaning, if I log into say US 1 and set up a tent then tomorrow log into US 2 will the tent be there or are they server bound? -Thank you

I for one am glad it's taking so long as it gives me a much needed break to invest more into real life and finish these Game of Thrones books lol. Take a breath, go outside or something. We've likely opened more windows on a desktop than we ever have in real life ;p.

Well I like the idea of Bear Traps as long as you cannot place them in buildings. On another note, maybe this is Rockets way of solving the issue veteran players are having with the 'I'm bored bc I have survived everything and have all the gearz' mentality. One bear trap and BAM, lost, bored now? lol

You should be filtering servers for the latest patch so that this doesn't happen, it's not difficult. That being said, I totally agree. All servers should be using the latest patches otherwise we cannot properly test them.

I really enjoy no crosshair servers but I think 3rd person angle can definitely be helpful in certain situations especially when prone.

Yeah... while you're at it why not make the zombies all carry rocket launchers as well and be equipped with proximity mines so that upon running up on you they instantly explode. Increase their Line of Sight by 20 kilometers as well....

This....is...alpha. 3 little words. Stick it out or if you can't bear it then wait it out a patch or two. This game gets patched so ridiculously fast that hating something broken one moment is fixed literally in 24 hours. The fact is... this game has provided me with feeling, sensations and emotions that no other game has ever made me experience. That alone keeps me here and again, this is alpha. If a game can make you feel something so powerful so early in it's creation then it's worth it to see the final product.
