I am aware of the majority but if thats how people want to play I don't care really. I like private hives because good private hives with good administrators can be way more effective at dealing with hackers and can help people affected by hacks. I back up my mySQL database daily so that if we get attacked I can roll it all back and use PHP tools to remove any trace of the hacker all within 10 minutes of him hacking.

2 AI bandits that do not respawn until restart and are there to stop one guy waiting till no one is online going to NWAF and gearing up then camping somewhere and KOSing everyone. I believe it has improved my server.

Gonna have to defend private hives. Not all of them do that. You can't just group them all together like that. I ran a private hive and it was identical to vanilla, only addition was some bandit AI with basic gear (revolver+shotgun) that patrolled high loot areas to kill survivors.

Investors and big development team leads to a rush to produce a playable game and a breakdown of communication because of the large numbers. Dean's vision for the game would be shat on and tossed aside.

It is called SURVIVAL horror for a reason. It isn't called SHOP TILL YOU DROP horror. You struggle to survive and find good gear unless you are smart and know how and where to look. SURVIVAL of the fittest. The DayZ mod has lots of military loot and all people do is KOS with it. It is just stupid. I like pvp and banditry but when people find everything they need they will just camp a city and shoot everyone.

Let me just point out something to you kid. Triple A games, lets take call of duty for example. Take around a year to make, that however is with a budget of $1 million+ and a team of 200+ developers. Every game they pump out is pretty much identical, with a few new features or slightly improved graphics, yet, people eat it up every time. This is a game that has been developed on a much, much smaller budget and a smaller team and they have put an alpha out after a year and a half. The alpha might not look different to you but to veterens we can see the difference already, keep in mind the game is being updated constantly to fix it. If you look at minecraft classic (DayZ Mod) and Minecraft Alpha (DayZ SA) you might not see much of a difference but now look at Minecraft, shit loads of content and bug fixes and everyone loves it.

It is an already reported bug that will hopefully be fixed in the upcoming patch.

The "buy now" button does not possess mind controlling powers. If you bought it despite the warnings then tough shit. Complain about bugs if you want but you did not get ripped off, you knew what you were buying into.

You should wait, that is what the development team have been saying. The Early access is to help report bugs, not to play the fully bug free game early. The discounted price is technically "payment" for helping report bugs.

Do not buy the game yet! The release of our Alpha is about getting those who want to be involved from the ground up, up and into the process. What we do encourage you to do, is to read reviews, watch livestreams and lets play videos, and talk to your friends. The alpha is going out into large scale testing for the first time, this means many things (mostly bad) will happen such as nasty bugs, connection issues, lost loot, etc... Our aim right now is to present the bare-bone architecture and check that works, getting some feedback on the direction in the process.

I was expecting a thousand hardcore players looking to help fund the development but not 150K, I have not stopped playing for more than an hour since it was released, thanks for the hard work put in to the game so far and the hard work currently still being put in to it!

That won't happen, the DayZ mod was extremely vulnerable in terms of scripts, the SA is not. Worst case is that some guy might have god mode or speed hacks but he would get perma banned for it quickly.
