hey there fellow survivors, Me and my mate were trying to go for a more civilian look the other day, and came to the conclusion that it is not worth lookin more friendly, when you get denied of the high end inventory capacity military clothes have. would it be an idea to maybe implement some high end civilian clothing? Also, I watched the EGX Rezzed roadmap, rocket said something about loots being hive controlled. So that in the game there would only be like (for example) 1000 NVG's. but what would happen if all those 1000 nvg's were to be looted, and then 250 people of those 1000 would go inactive? You've now effectively got only 750 NVG's while a 1000 were the standard. Does anyone know a bit more about this? ~FancyPants

i guess you're right, well my view still stands, i do want a little more civilian!

what i mean by High end Civilian clothing is basically clothing, which looks civilian but with the inventory capacity of the military clothing. thus you could look a bit more friendly (meaning not wearing military clothes) and a bit more stylish maybe. As far as the realism goes for this. Maybe they could implement it as survival gear. (gear that you would have when you would go camping). If you have professional gear. it could have a lot of pockets and things to put stuff in. or maybe have a little more variety in the civilian gear, instead of concentrating so much more on the military ones. sorry if im not as good at explaining.

So, I've got this laptop I game on, (acer aspire V-3 series) and it's got an I-7 3160Q 3.3Ghz GT 640M nvidia GPU 6GB ram win 7 Now when I play games I always run RivaTuner for some ingame GPU/CPU statistics, when i noticed that in Dayz Standalone the GPU only uses about 50% of its max, and the CPU is only using about 14%. Are these numbers "normal"? or on the low end? Also whenever I'm in the menu, my CPU seems to be using more resources than when I'm ingame. If they're on the low end how should i fix them? (I already noticed that when i put my graphic settings higher the GPU would get more load, altho the FPS would drop. so that is unfortunatly not an option.

Thanks for the reply, thing is. Just this afternoon i started to notice that whilst playing dayz, it changes my overclock settings I made for the GPU. the core clock would go from 784 Mhz, to 600-624. is that also just poor optimisation?

Does anyone know how the journal's humanity works, because i can't seem to figure it out... thanks in advance FancyPants

if you'd combine "custom control 20" under the controls menu, you can pop up your journal and the craft menu

yeah i thought the same thing, but if it would give me some numbers i would've been happy
