Im in the green forest below north airfield with 5000 blood and tons of raw meat and all the cooking supplies i need. But now no matter which tree i try to harvest from it says you must be near a tree or in a forest to harvest. WTF? I was in the middle of a forest and literally humping trees yet still get the same error.. Can someone please tell me how to harvest wood in Takistan? Thanks.

Well, high time to try out the dupe glitch so that I have a "hacker proof" camp that I will access only when killed unfairly by hackers. And no, I don't give a shit about what you think regarding this camp of mine.

I would go with CZ + MP5SD. MP5SD's ability to fire silently is crucial in cities/airfields. I got my ass saved many times today because of it. CZ is a great long range sniper. I just go on regular servers where i can range find with a scroll of a mouse, then zero the CZ accordingly for easy kills. It's a GREAT sniper, not as good as others but a sniper is a sniper. Got many kills with it. It's also much rarer than the AKS Kobra which you can find anywhere. So unless you plan to never shoot a single survivor, you should go with a CZ. CZ for PK, MP5 for zombies.

Ok then I have a question. Seeing as how hackers can spawn weapons that are ALREADY in the ingame databse, like AS50 or M4A1 CCO SD. I pick it up because its legitimately inside the game, though the particular one I pick up is hack spawned. How the hell am I supposed to know if a weapon (or a can of beans even) isn't spawned in? According to the logic of most of you people, a hacker can just spawn in beans everywhere and cause massive global banning for fair players as they pick up the hacked beans which they though were legit (as they had no other way of telling).

Well I just killed a ghillie suited bandit on NW Airfield with my AKM. He had coyote BP, Bizon PP SD and a FN FAL ANPV4 with tons of mags. But what I was most excited to loot was his ghillie suit...And no matter how hard I searched in his inventory I couldn't find the ghillie suit...Is it supposed to be unlootable?

I'm a US player but I hate playing DayZ at night because it's near impossible. However I mostly can only game at night... so what I try to do is join Russian servers that are in morning, but when I do I just get a new character rather than my full equipped character that I have on all US servers. Is this supposed to be the case?

You don't even know if that's picked up in Green Mountain. Some troll probably took a screen of Green Mountain then added another song/sound effect of his own to make that video. We don't see the guy with his actual radio out receiving this transmission. Obvious BS is obvious.

To the OP. Everyone here is just being a retard troll. Green Mountain is a hill with a tower on it. It has a few vehicle spawns, a pile of random AI bodies (which I found near Cherno as well as other places) and 3 deerstands. Nothing else. If you're really far south west then it is probably worth it to stop by and hope to find some guns in the deerstands while you're on your way up north.

How do you get your steam overlay into DayZ? DayZ is a non-steam game now...Shift+Tab does nothing for me.

WTF did they nerf the AKS74 family??? It uses a similar round size to NATO M4 and yet M4 still do more damage. So now all AK74 are officially the worst ARs in game... Most of the nerfs in this list posted above seem completely unwarranted. Nerfing double barrels shotgun damage? Are you kidding me? It just went from useless to burden... Obvious BS. I can believe the skin change was done by a hacker, but I doubt that your friend would lose control of his character and attack you against his will. No script can do that.
