If you can get an earbud and a few keys into your TF2 Inventory I'll do it. But as of right now your inventory is absolutely worthless and no one is gonna pay 30$ for it.

WTF....While looting barracks on my 5 day old character fully loaded with the best equipment you need I went from 12000 blood instantly to -15000 blood...I heard no gunshots, no nothing. Just randomly died while running into a room... Don't tell me I just lost all that shit to a glitch... Is there any gun that is silenced and can do 27000 worth of blood damage in 1 shot? Please tell me there is...Otherwise I really don't see the point in playing this game anymore and I'm telling my friend to cancel his Arma order..

Though I feel like the game is more intense when you can only use guns and therefore ammo scavenging is important, melee weapons like machetes and chainsaws would only make sense in a zombie apocalypse... Since this is a realism game, I approve of adding in melee weapons, but they must be well balanced so that you can't just go 100% melee and hack through zombie hordes like EZ mode on. Guns must still be the most important primary weapon.

Dude if you're gonna complain about the reality checks this forum is the worst place to do it lol...While I agree that some people are too hardcore, you're obviously just asking for flame when you post here with that because most people are going to disagree with you.

More AK variants (AK-47, AK 101, AK 103, AK-107), and the RPK LMG! (PKM would be fine too) Only makes sense that on a post Soviet Russian island there is a Russian standard LMG... Right now all the LMG are american, while the RPK/PKM don't even exist ingame even though it was more mass produced and every Russian/Soviet squad had one. It should be like the AK in damage, noise, fire rate recoil and blah blah blah but with a massive magazine for mowing down zombies in purely awesome fashion. Picture of this baby (RPK): PKM:

Taking into account both PvP and zeds. I'm making a hard decision right now... I want to change the AR for a CZ because I've never tried sniping and It seems awesome, but I want to know if a pistol is REALLY good enough to fight off zeds because obviously the sniper is a terrible choice at that. So should I go with CZ (or any snper i come across) and a pistol (which one do you recommend? Have m1911) or the same AK-74 + M1911 combo?

Nah man I know how the switching weapons part works, but for some reason once I had an AR in my BP, then when I logged back in it disappeared... I've always known the slot rules and the rule that you can only take it out of the backpack into inventory, not the other way around. It just doesn't seem to save whichever weapon that was in my BP though when i log out..

Yeah but everytime I try to store a primary gun in my backpack it either disappears or refuses to get dropped/replaced when I try to take it out...

Yeah the thing is, I've had hordes of zombies on me before and my AK-74's full auto spray saved me in those situations.. I could not imagine having only had a semi auto pistol with 7 rounds a clip to deal with such a horde. Though the PDW seems to be good for the situation, can anyone give me an idea of how well the PDW fares in comparison to AR's vs zombies?

I've only used the Kobra but I've forgone many opportunities to take the AKM simply because of its stats. People here don't seem to be taking into account noise level's effect on PvP as well as on zeds. If you shoot at someone with a high noise level gun such as the AKM, you're gonna get more zombies on your ass and that is an advantage for your opponent... As for the damage, it should take around 2~ shots to kill an enemy player with AKM at 300m while it takes 3 shots for Kobra AK-74. Not a huge difference if you ask me, the zed alerting worries me more If I'm in a PvP situation.

Great read courier, I love how immersed you are into the game. I love how you bring out all these psychological aspects and interesting perspectives that I had never thought about when I hear gunshots in cities or when I meet survivors. Keep it up.

Well, losing vehicles is not nearly as bad as losing the entire character. But I guess I should just calm down and start fresh. Game was getting old when you're so well armed anyway. TBH, I just made this thread so that I can have peace of mind by someone confirming to me that It was another player that killed me rather than a stupid glitch/bug. I'd still feel immersed that way, but the very thought that I dropped dead to a bug unsettles me greatly and destroys that immersion utterly. Does anyone have a sniper rifle damage table so I can see if a gun can actually do 27000 HP damage in 1 shot?!

Nah Glycerine. I got all my loot LEGIT. I liked immersion so I hated to cheat and go into server hopping warpzones for loot, because that way the game gets boring fast. I wanted to actually feel proud of getting what I got. However, dying out of nowhere really kills that immersion. I literally just dropped dead and lost 27000 blood. So now, IF I'm gonna get back playing (and I sure as hell don't feel like i'd want to play right now or in the near future) I'm just gonna go cheap ass just like this game has on me. And no one has answered me. Is there a silenced weapon that can take 27000 blood's worth of damage in 1 shot? I doubt it, and that is exactly why I think a bug killed me. If you guys can prove that it was a sniper, then I have more reason to stay but I highly doubt it..

What? I thought sniper rifles were the loudest ingame! Also I scouted the CRAP out of this area before entering... And some snipers I hear take 2 shots or more at long range on a full blood survivor. So wtf does this only take .5 of a shot's damage to kill me? Is this the M107 Anti-Material rifle that I got shot by? (which, by the way I shold've heard because ITS LOUD AS FUCK) Also, while I died I was running through a room, maybe the door glitch? I hope not though..Because that destroys all incentive for me to play anymore, knowing I died to a stupid glitch and lost all that progress... Man, and if it was a sniper then maybe it lagged...either way, I died unfairly. I got stuck while running through the door as well. I guess lag killed me, and that pisses me off just as much as if I were to be killed by a glitch/bug. I'm going to do all-out server hopping and loot map cheating if I am to play this game again in order to recover my unfairly lost previous status. Fuck playing legit if the game can fuck you over that easily.
