Yeah that's what I tried to do too. But it seems EVERYONE does that. I get plenty of people who server hop into foreign servers (I got an AmericaFuckYeah!!! guy in a Vladivostok server yesterday...had to shoot him but he DC). And for me It's actually better when dark, because most server hoppers quit dark servers but I have night vision.

That's not what I meant. I don't go up there with a Winchester. And I usually DO outsmart people... I'm a bandit, so I tend to die with 5-10 murders and these are all inland murders mind you. I am currently equipped with an ammoless FN FAL ANPV 4, Coyote pack and M4A3 CCO, and I've already killed a fully armed man at NW. It's just that avoiding people is so hard, and volume of traffic is so high. I'm not making this post because I suck at the game, I'm making it because I feel that the game gets old fast when the vast majority of this beautiful map is not taken advantage of as a result of good gear only spawning in a few clustered places.

How the hell do you guys even find these guns...everytime i enter NW it's already been ravaged by some other dude and I end up finding Lee Enfields in there -_-... Private server farming? Because all the low pop / empty public servers always have craptons of server hoppers comin in and out..It's actually more dangerous to loot NW on an empty server..

So I just looted an FN FAL ANPV4 at NW, but it has no ammunition whatsoever. Does anyone know where is the best place to find the mags for it? Because the wiki for dayz says that mags are found only at heli crash sites, but the fact that I just found this in a barrack makes me think that the wiki is wrong. And I really really want to use this gun..

Ok but where do i find those? I only ran across one once and it had 0 loot whatsoever (not even a tin can, i think it was bugged).

I had an M4A3 CCO...then got killed by a tree. Got so pissed cuz It's a rare gun and I never got to shoot it. But you just made me feel better. PS I did find an AKM immediately in my next life.

So I was just waiting for a friend to meet up with me at Balota... I try to craw into a tree for visual cover so that other players won't see me...then crack I'm dead. WTF? I heard no gunshots, and I was in a discreet location, having been there and scanned the area for over 15 minutes, with all my gear i had collected...then just insta-gibbed by a GODDAMN TREE.............................. Rocket, why hasn't this retarded glitch been fixed yet? This is utterly disappointed, and just ruined my day... Oh well I'm gonna stay away from the game for awhile now... I mean i'm totally fine if I lose all my stuff to a legit kill, but a tree...Just no. just no...

Wow you're retarded. I was never trying to crawl "into" a tree. I was trying to take cover under tree leaves but my head happened to make slight contact with the trunk, which insta killed me. Which mental hospital did you come from?

I know it's not that. It always happens when you crawl into a tree trunk. That's what I did and I died. PS I only found out that it happens when you crawl into tree trunks after I died, googled my thread name and watched some videos..

The other day I was in Elektro on a 20/50 server and literally the city was littered with dead bodies...The flies noise was so loud I had to mute my volume all over the city...most of them had 0 loot. When I got to the front of the church, there was 6 dead survivors lined in perfect parallel synch, something that obviously isn't natural. Then one of the bodies had an MP5SD6 and 3 SD mags for it which i suspect to be hacked because the guy had crap, except for the gun and there was no way he could've went to the north and gotten this gun. In total I spotted at least 100 bodies... It was scary to see all the dead people but I ran through the city without seeing a single live soul. Then today, I go into Cherno and the firestation is literally loaded with military assault rifles. On the first floor there was an AKS-74U with 3 mags, then the tower held an M4A1 Holo, M16A2, and M4A3 CCO, though none of them had ammo. THere were 2 Stanag rounds on the ground floor though, separate from the gun locations. I was just wondering..Since most of the time I enter the firestation it's basically empty, could this stuff have been hacked despite the fact that they're all legit guns? Because 4 assault rifles in 1 firestation..very suspicious. This is better than the NW barracks..

Wow. So why do people bother even going up north when they can just farm firestations.. Personally I never find anything there until today where there are 4 assault rifles.. I also think it's kinda stupid they put so much military loot in a beginner location.. I mean as far as i'm concerned most firestations don't house assault rifles.. Firefighters fight fires, not the arsonists themselves.

Seriously, i've been to both alot and it seems to me that Berezino is actually MORE populated than Cherno now? For example, yesterday I was looting the hospital on a 15 player server, and whoop, what do I see? Another survivor right under me while i was on hospital rooftop. I shot him, went to the apartments, just to see another survivor camping with a double barrel who promptly fired at me like an idiot out of range. I killed him as well. This all happened under an hour in a 15 player server. Today, I go camp on the hill on DE312 with a CZ overlooking the hospital roof and grocery entrance. The server had around 30 players in total, but in less than an hour I have spotted more than 10 survivors trying to ravage the hospital/grocery! NOT EVEN KIDDING! First I saw a group of 3... I took one down whilst they were in the grocery store, before the other 2 left. Then a lone survivor tries to loot that body 15 minutes later, and i fire but miss. He heads north afterwards. Then a group of 4 come in within 10 minutes... 3 of them enter grocery while one goes on hospital rooftop to cover them. I take the one on the rooftop down and the rest head north. then 12 minutes later a group of 2 enter grocery store. I fire on them but i forgot it was at night so my muzzle flash probably gave my position and i got sniped myself. Cherno has always been hyped as a deathtrap, but from my experiences today Berezino is the same now...Such a shame it used to be so peaceful. It's like the new Cherno except everyone there is armed to the teeth. On a side note, the devs should really do something about sniper rifles. It's too easy to just sit on a hill overlooking hotspots and get free kills, and the only counter to it is another sniper rifle or ghosting.. And although they're rare to find regularly, for server hopping farmers it's not a rare commodity at all. It makes gunfights and PvP situations lame and boring. And no it doesn't take skill, at least not on regular servers where I can determine range with the scroll of a mousewheel, then zero my CZ550 farmer rifle accordingly to get kills.
