The double barrel is like the worst weapon in the game other than melee weapons. You only take it if its all that is there and you upgrade whenever you find anything else.

The exploit comment is correct. If you close the game quickly enough while getting shot it can sometimes result in the server not saving your death, and you can log back into the game in the exact same spot with the same gear. There are multiple other threads about this same thing out there.

I have a M4A1 right now, so you can def. get that one currently.

Apparently you've never played alone and had a zed break your leg without any morphine or no access to a hospital/medical supplies. Now change the scenario and say you only have a lee enfield... Have fun at the coast! SUMMED UP: Your game experience isn't the same as everyone else's. Making things "harder" isn't necessarily the right option for a majority of players.

I sprinted through NW (both barracks and all hangers/control tower) with a lee enfield and only found like 15 AK's so i decided life wasn't worth living and let the zombies eat me.

It's really hard to maintain/find vehicles playing solo. Best bet is to find a crew and start collecting.

No biggie we can download teamspeak if you have a server.. I'll hop in tonight after I talk to my brother... I'll have to find out if he's attached to that gun cause I did give it to him as a gift and would feel bad asking to give it back if he was in love with it. I am used to heavy snipers like m107 and as50.. or even a dmr, so I didn't like it lol.

Oh yea, you ruined Christmas for me dude! I shot one guy who was laying in a tree I think causing him to bleed, then I headshotted another guy with the kobra... i was about to move to scope the area out and down I go 1 shotted. We have a group of players with 3 or 4 really experienced players and 4-5 beginners who we use as bait :P. We're very self-sufficient players.. we have a nice sized camp and we collect vehicles regularly (although they are a pain to keep because the server resets them so often.) I do admit I have some trust issues with this game but I'll talk to the guys tonight to see if they are interested in an alliance... I personally have been looking for a bigger/stronger group so we can do bigger things and have more cover for some heavy duty areas like NW airfield. I'm pretty sure they will go for it!

great fix on the leg damage.. yesterday i crawled for like 2 hours w/ no morphine.. i almost cried. Wire fencing kits have become nothing but griefing items.. increase toolbox spawn or decrease wire spawn... i went through elektro and cherno and literally 1 building was not barbed off.... might as well barb wire the whole coast in and no one can move off of it when they spawn.

Adrenaline rush is right.. when we rode into your clearing I saw the tent first and pointed out to my brother.. as we got closer I saw a player then another player and almost crapped my pants. I ejected off the bike figuring you guys would kill us both if we didn't and sacrificed my life to protect the bike getting back as i only had the kobra. My brother is a really good navigator and remembered exactly where the camp was at that point so we just suited up for a war and went to have some fun. I can't speak for what happened to anyone else but I can say you smoked me initially with the L85 and I actually said on vent.. "Wow this guys got some really good gear cause he just 1 shot me from pretty far away in the woods." That's when we decided it was war. I threw a few grenades to get my range down but still ended up panicking and blowing myself up. The thing about people getting thrown in the air is weird but I know that kind of thing happened to me/others when an object fell around them.. i saw a guy fly way in the air when we hit him with our offroad pickup truck.. maybe the trees falling caused you guys to fly in the air? I also admit its possible there was a hacker, but I will say i got kicked out of the game multiple times as well and a couple of times it still showed the server had people in it. i wouldn't say we can't meet in game again.. i had a lot of fun during our encounter and would be open to playing and even grouping up if you guys were.. the funny thing about this we were at the point where we decided that we wanted to leave ny14 for a diff server like us74. I'd be open to returning the L85 to you as well, if my brother didn't want to use it. I actually don't like the adjustment for the scope its not preferable for my playstyle.. too long to get in and out of scope with the darkness/brightness.

Manny wrote the original response to your post where he explained what happened to him. The thing I still can't wrap my head around is why didn't one of your guys who was still alive run over and grab your gun for you? I ran all the way back from the coast and picked that gun up.. I had no gear when I got up there.

we HEARD you talking on the server chan when you were joining and were saying we believed we had gotten nuked because we all got kicked from the server... At this time we believed that the camp we were raiding belonged to ADMINS, and that they had shut the server down to avoid us getting their gear... I was pretty far away from the main shootout when i blew myself up with a grenade and i was right behind a guy laying down near the tent... I'm not saying hacking def. didn't occur, but I can promise you it wasn't any of the 3 of us who were assaulting your camp. I can't explain what happened to kick everyone off the server, but I can tell you that had been happening all throughout the day, and someone was moving vehicles pretty quickly upon server restart each time because I saw the server desync a lot after the reboots.. so that may very well have been admin abuse with bad timing. However, like i said.. some of the corpses were still there from the shootout.

I was the guy on the back of the dirt bike initially.. I had a ak kobra and killed 1 and i believe shot another of your team. Then i got 1 shot by the L85 and told my brother on the dirt bike to get out of dodge so he wouldn't get shot and lose the dirt bike. He picked me up at the coast, I went to OUR camp and picked up a lee enfield and a grenade... we were coming into your camp with 3 of us this time to assault you and i noticed a guy high on the hill.. i then saw a guy laying behind your tent and went to shoot him with the enfield but threw a grenade by accident and blew myself up and i believe him. then i respawned and got kicked from the server. This was a crazy course of events, but I then ran back to your camp AGAIN and there was only 2 bodies there one with a gun and no ammo and one with an alice pack and the l85.. all the other corpses including mine and my brothers were gone. I'm actually quite certain there was no hacking done and that all the explosins were legitimate grenades going off. The guy who got kicked (at which point we all got kicked too) could have picked up your stuff but you guys summed it up to being nuked.. I had been on this server and kicked multiple times throughout the day.. I could be wrong I guess, but If you guys still had a guy alive when he logged back in why didn't he loot your corpse for the l85? we were all dead at that point.

RP Servers would be cool, but its too hard to moderate... Someone could be roleplaying a serial killer and get banned for not roleplaying correctly. I've said it before but you friendly players all overestimate the human race. When the shit hits the fan we're all out for ourselves and ours.

15-20 minutes? Not everyone is some unemployed dude who can afford to waste 20 minutes every time they want to reconnect to a server. At least say like 5 and be reasonable.

that was the best video i have seen yet... i absolutely loved the part where you said "we're gonna end this apocalypse today!" and the "fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you" when you were shooting them hahaha.. make more videos man!

The only time I have ever let someone live in this game was when i saw them spawn on the coast near me (without a gun) and I only had enough bullets to shoot a few times, so I wanted to save my ammo to look for bandits. If anything, this shows not spawning with a weapon reduces PVP :P

That would suck. I've heard people complain they got nuked after I sniped them at over 600 meters.. but never had this happen to me, no.
