  7. Hello everyone, It has come to my attention that users who have/want DayZ servers are not following the rules provided by DayZ, Or they think they can get around the rules set by DayZ. Things users must remember is that these rules are forced upon Server Providers by DayZ them selves. The rules are there to provide fair and better game play for all users across all servers. Please remember that this has nothing todo with the server provider who is hosting your game server and they are pretty much powerless when it comes down to modifications on these rules. No matter what any host tell you, You can not get around these rules. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are found with the following, your server will more than likely be suspended at most server providers and if it's not suspended it will result in the entire ip range being BLACKLISTED. 1. Your server does not conform with the DayZ name convention. 2. Your server slots are not valid ( This is for those servers within the list that have low slot counts in an attempt to get around the locking/password restrictions) 3. Your server is password protected or locked. Please also note no server provider is allowed to provide servers below 40 slots, or 30 within low bandwidth countries. NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU THESE ARE THE RULES PLEASE ABIDE BY THEM. Best Regards, Lee

    Vilayer can you get your act together?

    Hello Everyone, First of all i am extremely sorry for the issues over the past 24 hours. All customers must understand that we are under extremely load currently, we're getting approx 30 odd orders per hours for DayZ. The control panel issues were fixed this morning by Tcadmin, we're continuing to monitor the situation carefully to ensure it doesn't happen again. If anyone wants to come on our Teamspeak i'll be around to help them in any way i can.

    @CamP Normally when hardware fails it is replaced within a couple of hours depending on the specific hardware issue. As you run a Web Hosting Company yourself you must understand that hardware failures do happen, The issue with this instance is unique and should not happen again however, we are a provider of professional services and we understand that within this instance there have been issues so we have granted 1 free month of service for the 6 DayZ servers affected. This is an extremely rare issue and we hope that everyone understands that only 6 DayZ servers have been affected.

    Hello, As wished 1 free month of service will be added to everyone affected, One thing i may add is that 6 DayZ servers have been affected by this issue nothing more. The two hour hardware replacement is for DELL servers only, these servers are not DELL based servers and it can take sometime to replace hardware. Unfortunately in this instance it has taken a little longer than expected, Again i am extremely sorry to anyone who has been affected by this issue.

    Hello, I am extremely sorry to hear about your issue. 1 Machine out of 1000s we have had suffered from a hard drive failure unfortunately, the drive is being replaced as i post this. All servers on the machine will be reinstalled and re-configured, I will be giving all users 2 free weeks on that machine for the problems you have received. As i stated i am extremely sorry, hardware does fail from time to time there is nothing anyone can do about this. All we can do is replace the drive or components in the server that has failed.

  13. Also just to explain this issue alittle further Most of you have noticed your server lags more than others this is UNTRUE. You are more than likely connecting to other servers at the same time when your server is desyncing, the nature of the issue is SQL overload, some servers packets will connect (making the server run perfect without an issue) at the very same time another server may have desync ( this is because it's packets have been force to pend ). Please note, i am stating this for all service providers. It's got nothing todo with the physical server that it's running on. One thing is for certain, Every server at Every location will have the dysync problem at some point in it's running, it all depends on what the hive is doing with it's connection. Your server could be on-top of the hive server and still get desync, it's got nothing todo with server location. It's all down to the load on the hive server and it's own load balance system.
  14. Hello everyone, I thought i would post here just to inform you all of the specific issue with lag and timeout on servers. I am not sure how many of you understand how the HIVE works but i'll try to explain this for you. The HIVE is a sql server on 1 machine with 1000s of connections. The network message pending has nothing todo with any service provider or server host, This is the HIVE putting the packets sent to it on a hold while it processes other data thus creating red-chain / packet loss in servers. As i stated it has nothing todo with the service provider no matter who it is. This issue is well known by DayZ and they are working on a fix, They never thought of how many servers are coming online each day and currently the HIVE is under a massive load. I hope this explained the issue to everyone.

    Hello Everyone, Vilayer hasn't scammed anyone just to make a very valid point. Our system is having some issues currently of which we're dealing with them as fast as possible. If anyone gets the message, Login denied! Your account is inactive or has been blocked. Please ignore it This issue is not directly down to Vilayer but is down to the component of which is used to integrate the billing system. I am trying to make this issue very clear to everyone. No ones account has been blocked or will be blocked.

    Hello, We have a huge amount of orders coming in currently of which i am provisioning as many as possible... Although it states on our website that DayZ is instant setup there are 3rd party measures that we must take into account and for this reason i am going to be changing the system from Instant to manual. We will provision as many services as we can as fast as we can, Please be as patient as possible. All time that you have not used for your services will be added onto your next due date thus making the setup time free.
  20. Hello everyone, As far as i am aware there have not been any issues with our servers alone, Alot of issues with desyncing etc... comes from the HIVE. Please bear in mind that DayZ is still in Alpha and they are working extremely on the HIVE, If the hive fails your server will ultimately fail. Our of the 100s of DayZ servers we host i have not noticed any problems what so ever. @Steve, I've been looking at your server for couple of hours now, Please bear in mind i am from the UK so my ping will show 100+ to Dallas / Chicago. This is a direct query to your Arma2 server not a direct ping to the server. Also as for a direct ping here is the out put. Pinging 64.31.39.122 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 64.31.39.122: bytes=32 time=131ms TTL=114 Reply from 64.31.39.122: bytes=32 time=128ms TTL=114 Reply from 64.31.39.122: bytes=32 time=129ms TTL=114 Reply from 64.31.39.122: bytes=32 time=127ms TTL=114 Ping statistics for 64.31.39.122: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 127ms, Maximum = 131ms, Average = 128ms You can do a just-ping to your server and you'll find that the USA pings perfectly fine to your server. http://just-ping.com/index.php?vh=64.31.39.122 So as for the 800 - 900 ping plus i can-not see this to come from our end please ensure your services are running upto standard. Hello everyone, Sorry about the recent long delay in setup, we've been fixing a number of problems that we've en-counted with DayZ before provisioning new servers. @coretax I am extremely sorry if you found us playing a game last night, after a solid 20 hours of bug fixing and working i decided that on Friday night my staff and i should have a short break for 2 hours just to release stress etc... All services will be setup within the next 2 - 4 hours and fully automated setup as of tomorrow morning will resume. We've fixed a number of issues with the auto-provisioning system that caused a huge amount of issues with our internal systems, I am sorry if the long delay has caused any issues.

    Admin Abuse US35 banned for ghosting

    Hello Everyone, If this user is in the wrong (which i am about to check the logs to get further information) i will take correct action but from what the user has explained to me he has full proof of ghosting taking place. I will then forward any logs of which i find onto the DayZ staff, most people who get found ghosting are more than likely going to kick up a massive fuss about it because they can get globally blacklisted. Please bear in mind that if this goes further the DayZ staff will take full action against the users that are causing issues and ghosting. DayZ staff do know that this is a con-current issue with DayZ and that alot of users are ghosting currently however hopefully within the next couple of releases this issue will no longer exist.

I am currently working on our policies and procedures to ensure this does not happen again. There is no excuse for what has happened and we hope that any customers affected will accept our generous offer to compensate them for a week of billing. We will continue to be a driving force in the game hosting industry and we look forward to setting up more DayZ servers for future customers.

The EU load issue has been resolved and all other setup issues are resolved. Please note it may take a further hour to get last standing orders processed through. I want to personally apologize for the delays and issues that plagued us for the past two days, this was definitely not intended. I am currently working on our policies and procedures to ensure this does not happen again. There is no excuse for what has happened and we hope that any customers affected will accept our generous offer to compensate them for a week of billing.     My Vilayer EU server is now LU78 wth???

    Hello everyone, Okay i will try to answer everyone enquires within here. You do not have to have LU in the server name, you can have anything that conforms with the DayZ name convention. You still have full access to everything of which you need access to. The issue here is that if your server was not sorted within 24 - 96 hours it would have been blacklisted. So we changed everything to ensure your server would not have been blacklisted and then emailed everyone. Within that email i explained everything to all clients. We're also now the only host to offer timechanges, With this inside of your configuration files you will see a changeservertime.bat of which you can edit. We are the only host on the planet to offer such an ability. So anyone who is having time change problems, please edit the time of which you want your server to start on and restart your server. It's as simple as that. If anyone has any questions what so ever, please come onto our Teamspeak i will be more than happy to answer any questions within there.
