Oh it's not W8s fault, I had the same problem once with XP. Seems to happen when buying from "Euronics", happens after 2-3 months and then I have to pay to repair it... to Euronics... Wait... conspiracy theory :o They put a virus in there so I would have to pay for repairs :o Off topic. Anyways, I dont mind, withSIX is also good IMO.

My windows 8 is going crazy. Whatever I do it just says ".MSI opener is invalid" or something like that.

I can't install Day Commander because I cant open MSI files, so I use withSIX.

That is the exact problem: Beta patches dont work for me. It say's patch succesfully installed but ingame it's still only 1.62 :l

I tried. It said "1.60 is already installed."

I already have 1.62, I updates 1.60 also before, but I cant use the beta patches

Hmm... I have got 1.62 but I cant get it to 103718. I guess I can try repatching 1.60 and 1.62 then, will reply if working

By that you mean what? I had the problem of the Russian CD key so I chanced the .exe hex code to English, is that something that might be causing the problem?
